So something I’ve noticed after a long absence from the game, is that I’m no longer able to /invite, /join or right click invite join enemy servers anymore. This is puzzling to me since other guys invite me immediately after I kill them.

I know there was another method (which was fixed a couple patches ago) to right click + block to get the username, and then one could friend from there and invite. But these guys are instantly inviting me after a fight is over.

Have I been banned from using this feature for abusing it or? Anyone else have a similar story?

You don’t get banned from features in the game. If you get banned, you get banned from the entire game, not parts. That is as much as I know about it.

If you click their name while not downed, you should see [Server Name] Invader or whatever rank they are appear in the party join/invite window. Only way to invite that I know of.

Don’t right click on the actual name in the UI. Go to your Party/Social window and their enemy name should appear where you can type in a player name. Select join (invite might error if they’re already in a party)

I wouldn’t mind too much if this method was also patched out. Getting party spam after a close fight just puts me in a negative mood.

Party invite is not so bad as whispering. People on other servers are whispering me on a scary basis. No invitation, no needing to approval, no nothing…

How do you whisper them? I’ve tried and the chat box breaks into 2 fields requiring an email address.

It’s random. Occasionally your name will pop up in the invite tab instead of your server+rank.

To whisper them, block them first. It’ll give you the account name. Type it in the Whisper thing for the box on who you’re sending it to. Then unblock them and type your message.

Two methods I use:
1. Left click to select target on who you want to invite, then click on the party UI and invite/join button.
2. Pop your commander tag and /supplyinfo on top of them to get their character name.

There’s also a method when you use an /emote @ them with them targeted in down state. It shows their name in chat emote line when they die.
