I`m intrigued you picked augury to hop onto. You are in for a frustrating week….I mean, we spent the best part of an hour using them for target practice as they ran about pointlessly in from of stonemist today.

Some compared it to a parade. Which it would have been had it not been for the two or more mortars, two trebs, cannons, arrow carts and thirty odd players shooting at them. We nearly died under the weight of lootbags.

I`m impressed they kept running about, all things considered.

You know, AR is not a server dedicated to WvW, not at all. But I assume that you already knew that ? Even if we have a fairly high population most of our WvW troups are not organized and ignor basics about tactics and dont seem to read orders or take some efforts to go on AR dedicated teamspeak. Our leads try to do something with all of this with sometimes success and unfornately many fails. But it’s the game and I enjoy it as it is.

Anyway, welcome to RG guys, hope you will enjoy your stay.

We came for fights and fights we got

What a good night full of good fights and almost 100% lag free.

Some lag at the beginning in SM 3 way battles but nothing to bad compared to last 2 weeks constant lag-feast and skill delay.

Its a pleasure to be able to use buttons other than “1”, I had almost forgotten where my heal was binded.

And im happy to see a lot of AR people are pleased to have us fighting at their side, we had some fun “lost in translation” moments.

Promising weeks ahead imho.

BB players sure do like using thieves. Seems every 2nd player is one. Very curious.

hahaha you finally got what you wanted Piken Maybe in a week or two we can re-trade Baruch Bay for Riverside? :P

I’ll let you know that Baruch Bay as changed their mentality and are a lot more points focussed over fights focussed these days, despite having the numbers and guilds to fight. There is a lot more of “fight avoidance”. instead looking for easy pve option en masse instead of playing WvW to fight. Its all about score and server, instead of battles and fun factor.

Their coverage as improved a awful lot, still a bit weak in the mornings but afternoons aint too much of a issue for them. Not sure if they will be able to sustain that though, it seems like they have had a boost in pve population in WvW or old players returning to grind WXP. Your organised guilds should be generally too strong for that in fights.

Will be interesting to see how this matchup goes BB are pretty unified for the first time in ages, crank up the pressure see if it cracks… They want to be back in the promise land of tier 2, its a bit of a shame they changed their way of fighting because they are potentially good enough to play alternative way but whatever floats their boat.

I like the fights….but kitten BB……you do like to bring everyone to counter FG …….. i had lag the min you were nearby the tower we capped ……..that was the whole border haha …..was good to see some old friends DsD ……was looking for that little commander Mishi….small but mighty as always…..couldnt find you so i had to kill your guildies to suppress my pain hehe……to RG nice to see you here as enemies, good practise…..only guild that FG have trouble with but we are improving every day…..say hi to Ogro and Kraken for me.

PS: i do like to kill RG like i can imagine they enjoy killing us hehe.

Not so many, but probably better organized.
This afternoon three Shadows infiltrated Hills fortress in Piken and killed in enemy field more than 25 Pikenians in 1vs1 and 2vs2 fights.

Some intense battles in Baruch Bay Borderlands tonight.
Necrosis do not have many people online but the 8-9 of us that were online stud by SPRT.

Also i would like to congratulate the Augury Rock guilds Tofu and Black Hope..We had a really nice skirmish in Victors Lodge in BB BL..Maybe the best i have seen from Augury Rock all these weeks of WvW

Sup csnds or whatever the piken guild tag was in augury, also HoB and i think i’m forgetting some guilds, but good fights. Highlight the 3 way fight holding the centlral keep.

I felt like i was getting farmed until our guild raids came and we had an easier time.

I personally don’t like so much this tier. Too many guilds in front of us and so many pugs in our side to fight against you. It’s also really stressful to try to organise pugs against guilds.

Shout out to the AR [ROAM] Guild, you guys rock as a kin group.
4v1 and yous all die, then you get friends and still take few of yas with a 8v1.
I enjoyed the corpse party on my head aswell afters, After a long hard 8v1 you deserve a party imo, takes some serious skill

Good fights so far, had good day in EB esp with the long 3 way in SM. bit to much blobbing(skilllag rage) but what can ya do.

Awesome night of fights in AR BL. Shoutout to AR guilds NR and OCB, along with Baruch guilds Nuke, VLK and DsD. kittening crazy fight for us in AR’s Garrison, 40 minutes of killing, 400-500 kills, finally killed by some great work by DsD and Nuke sandwhiching us on the bridge.

Nice of RG to zone into the map later on as well, had a few good fights vs you before we logged, unfortunately it was usually in the middle of a 3 way, with our flanks getting pushed by BB and blobs on all 3 sides. Hope to find you on your own later this week.

Props to PS guilds also in the zone, great work by VII, HoB, GF, TNTD and other small scale roamers. Awesome night

Well, i see it in a different way.

WvW is not about fighting.
Fights ofc are a fun part of the WvW but definitely are not the objective. The combat system in this game is really caotic.
Fight are won just by spaming couple abilities in the right moment. There is no much space for skill.
Hovewer those skilled players are able to shine over the rest as in every other game.

So as for BB gamestyle lets say that we’re still learning and building our player community. We may be late comparing to other servers but we’re on the right path.

I hope we BB can stand against the finest some day in every fight. For now we just play WvW as it was designed.

We’re still small scale we roam in our guilds still, the only time we form big groups is when we face big blobs and even then not always if we can help it.

U guys r definitley the strongest AR guild right now and that means that the RG tag is getting called out superfast on the map. At which point everyone on Piken wants a piece of u and gravitates to that location. They seem very interested in getting hold of a white charr, apparently he tastes like chicken hmmm…

not sure how u guys will be able to deal with all that extra attention

Basically RS is getting special attention so the Piken zergs r bigger than they usually are at the RG location on the map…

We still run in Guild warbands.Sometimes though when there is no commander on map, someone will have to badge up and gather the friendlies.

Also,i don’t know if its the lack of culling, but it seems as if you have got your numbers up a bit..If you are now between 25-30 people , well , not many Piken guilds manage to get these numbers in the field.

In all fairness Sacrx, there is a big difference between doing a GvG and WvW.

What I mean is this: when you organise a GvG where you count numbers, we won’t interfere with the blob. Some might be tempted, but rest assured the leaders will tell them to back of.

But outside of those, this is war.
When RG goes for a tower, a camp or whatever… you don’t count numbers, you don’t expect fairness, nor do you hand it out.
You may let the odd loner run, but you won’t leave the tower be because it doesn’t have enough defenders.

So when you’re on the map, and we haven’t heard of any GvG… than you’re free game. Just like we are to you.
At that point there is absolutely no reason why we would try to beat you at your own game!

Don’t forget that you are organsied and we were a bunch of randoms, small guilds and what not. Commonly referred to as ‘the blob’.
Of course we’re not going to attack you head on collision.
You guys hurt like hell. Nothing changed there.
But we will do whatever we can to knock the train of the rails.

You didn’t always wipe with 12 vs 60 by the way. We wiped you a few times where you had a lot more.
And you did kick us to here or there.
Give our commanders a bit more credit. They did have to play smart and fast to get the unorganised blob to do what it takes to beat you guys.
Many Pikens seem to think by now that we can beat you lot easily. Those were the bags you collected yesterday… since they failed hard by underestimating you.

I respect RG a lot.
Personally, from me to you: I don’t always like your social skills. But that’s not even relevant. You get the job done in your guild. And in the end I don’t know you personally at all.

Piken randoms have a bit of a score to settle with you, something you drew on yourself
So many of the reactions are a bit exagerated. You will hit back hard where you can. And any guild stepping up to you better come prepared!
Not to mention I see our blob heading for it’s doom the next days, simply by underestimating you…

Qft this. I know how some of the fights against the better guilds in t1 felt at times when we were running 20-25 and they had 40. Also let us get another waypoint on some map. AR friendlies are really good at following us with just 1 :P. Also GvG’s fast! Looks like we might go down a tier this week.

It seems to happen more in recent times that when there’s a big battle. Most of the servers turn up to join in so blobbing up to some degree is inevitable.

Maybe it’s partly RS’s fault as our guild raids had no chance of killing their entire server blobs. Piken used to be firmly against blobbing under any circumstances but necessity is the mother of invention and now people are more inclined to clump together in bigger groups than smaller groups. Our frequent lack of supply camp ownership may be a side-effect of this.

Well, at least something good has come from it. Piken now has a new weapon to use against its enemies, just say “RG is here!” in map chat and you got the entire server there in seconds, foaming at the mouth with thoughts of killing them. Hahaha!

I’m really enjoying this match-up, it is a pleasure to have almost no skill lag, and even when we have some it feels like nothing compared to the past weeks in SFR.

There is even guilds in Piken and BB that come at us as guild raid. Guild pride and the will to have nice fights didn’t dilute in the blob in this tier.

I hope we don’t drop this week!

Here it is folks. As said above, such a fun night in ARBL last night, thanks to everyone on all servers who was there. I just wish kittening fraps hadn’t wrecked the first half of this fights footage.

Some awesome fights so far this week, was very happy to see a couple of certain guilds in the matchup. DsD, RG… Will see you on the battlefield.

Its not our fault that once RG is called out on the map then almost everyone gravitates to your location for the chance to smash u up… thats something u gotta live with. Basically u cant expect to build up your reputation and then make the rules up to suit yourself.

RG is now the no1 target for Piken so when its spotted the word goes out and u can expect massive blobs to deal with.

On the flipside of this, every fight i had with RG in EB last night u had over 60 players yourself anyway!

It appears that AR randoms r all following u around. And we all know just how easy it is to smash AR randoms down… that didnt help u guys at all. So the truth is that the EB fights last night were very equal, there was around 50-60 Piken and 50-60 AR at the same location.

We particularly enjoyed when we hit RG from the side and seperated the guy at the front (we think leader) who we chased down to Klovan while the rest of u ran off back to AR side of the map being chased by our zerg… “divide and conquer” look it up

No, we didn’t go to AR to embarrass Piken. No one in the guild would transfer anywhere for that reason. RG want good fights; Piken and Baruch Bay have several solid guilds (as well as decent sized groups of decent pugs) that offer difficult but not impossible fights pretty much every night.

So stop trying to prove you’re not easy – we know you’re not, that’s why we’re here.

Why am I funny? Obviously I know why we went to another server and you don’t, except if you talked to someone in RG.

Dont worry, you will get your good fights when you lose server Tier after this round You are pushing AR pretty down – they had worst round start for many weeks :p

Hit RG with anything you got in-game. Except if they are doing a GvG of course, them leave them alone. You annoy both guilds by interfering, not just RG…

I know Sacrx hasn’t been the most popular guy around on Piken /map chat when RG was here. But they don’t deserve these kind of insults either.

I can fully understand we go for RG on the field, full out and no compassion.
They can take it, and dish out some more as they return.
I can not however, not for the life of me, understand how a game battle should transfer to forum insults.

Never fall so low to conquer your enemy by insults, it shows your weakness not theirs.
Respecting your enemy is a form of respecting yourself, both in strenghts as weaknesses.

They went to that server because they want to fight servers that don’t blob and have solid guilds. Take it as a compliment and stop ruining the good reputation the guilds and friendlies have build on PS.
