You get 50 berries.
From ember and the bloodstone u get 50 wood and 50 ruby.

As we can seee below from the links…you need significantly more berries than wood/ruby to buy the same types of items (you even spend more magic on alot of them).

So really if you are doing the reward track you are doing it for: the special skin (not the berries) which is a one time thing, you are doing it for berries to buy the special skin of the backpack, certain mini, to buy an ascended breather, berries to help you attain the achievements in pve, or berries to purchase some of the food items (which honestly might be worth it if you consider the cost of a berry to be 7silver…but we don’t really know yet).

So if pve doesn’t interest you and you don’t want the special skin, don’t use this reward track.

honestly I think its a bit unfair that we don’t get 75 or even 100 berries from this track. But its gonna be justified through the diversity of the items you can get. Just be aware of where it rips you off.

Yea it is the best way to get the skin. When I completed the track on the first day(saved wvw tack potions), I was thinking maybe I would get some berry as the track progress but nope. Its easy to farm berries with alts than use this track.

Considering that everything in Bitterfrost Frontier have double the price of Ember Bay and Bloodstone Fen, I am intrigued that the track don’t give double the berries. But then again, the track is just a copy-paste from the others with the only change being the final reward, so it’s not really surprising if you ask me.

Wow, switching back to my Bloodstone track then.

Thanks for the heads up. I only assumed it would give more berries (75-100 would be nice) to even things out considering the new items cost more berries.

Also you can farm the berries really quickly in the forest. Nothing compared to looking for petrified wood.

^ Exactly. The reason the price is higher is because the Winterberries are so easily farmable through gathering.

They really should increase the number of berries to 100 because of the increased price of the items compared to ember bay/bloodstone fen items.

I also feel like this reward tracks could give more unbound magic… I am now using this gathering tools from pve that give you some unbound magic even in WvW but the 25/50 size stacks make it very annoying and expensive :/

New skins? They any good?

Might do the dangle-berries track if they are nice.
