So after coming back to GW2 after finally installing my new PSU the 1st thing I want to do it play WvW. And it appears that Anet has put in a patch that once again negatively affects the connectivity of all players due to bugs and mishaps. Zergs are freezing in place as the server attempts to catch up, and by catch up I mean everything happens at once followed by disconnecting. For ME this hasn’t happened in MONTHS, so when did this start happening again? Was this in the last few days? Or weeks? Just wondering since I’ve been out of the loop for a bit

Well besides obvious skill lag in WvW (which can’t be helped…) And did all these issues really happen starting today? I did notice that there was a patch specifically today, did it really mess everything up? kitten , such a shame, I was getting excited to run with my guild again

Can’t be, the only times I’ve had these issues was when they screwed up a patch and everyone would start complaining about disconnects and major issues. Something like this happened a few months ago is a remember correctly, stirred up many angry forum posts

Actually I have no clue so that should say how much I care about their tournaments, lol

I started lagging more today after the patch. was having to do my best to be on the opposite side of the map from the commander and the zerg to be able to play fluidly.

Running
4.5ghz i74770k
16gb OC ram
512ssd drive
win 7 pro
780gtx OC to 1.3ghz
100mbps internet connection

Even with this setup i do drop down to 45 frames per second when there are around 150+ players in wvw

Lag is not an issue for me.

I did find connecting my PC to my Cisco router then to my internet box rather than directly to the internet box to reduce all the problems i had with lag.

In all the top notch games my CPUS run around 70 to 76 degrees and my GPU 65 to 75 whilst with GW2 i get my CPUS running 70 to 79 and my GPU 40 degrees.
