Besides the obvious of leveling up
you’re upscaled. Find a zerg that doesn’t keep dying and stick to it.
Escorting yaks is helpful when no one else does it.

Man and refresh siege in keeps, spam skills, like combo fields, that help other players, always tote supply to fix walls/gates or build equip, rez peeps when you can, call out enemy positions and numbers when you see ‘em. There’s no end of stuff a lowbie can do to be an asset to their server.
Man the available siege …. Run supply and help build it …. Scout and yell out in map when you see an enemy. Unfortunately until you hit at least 30, you’ll likely not make much of a dent in Zerg combat because you don’t have all your skillsets and your gear doesn’t scale …. The optimal time to head out into the Zerg or any combat really, I’ve found, is around 50. But the other things I mentioned will make a significant contribution and be appreciated by your team.
Yeah the combo fields one is a biggy. When a water/dark field is down its healing power of the person using the finisher that is taken into account, and things like might stacks and blind are independent of any stats really.
What this effectively means is that as long as a level 80 is finishing in them, your lvl2 necro or ele throwing down his combofields can really help in battle (providing you have the smarts to stay alive of course :P)
Of course in an ideal world we would love to have everyone level 80, there are a number of natural level 80s with a poor understanding of the game mechanics and in scenarios such as the above the lower level classes are more helpful.
If all that fails you have the ability to man siege and carry supply which is what wvw comes down to at the end of the day!
Nar: I love that it will take me time and money to
reach the same level I’m at right now… …said no one, ever.
Man the available siege …. Run supply and help build it …. Scout and yell out in map when you see an enemy.
I would like to reinforce this. These things are pivotal to winning in WvW and it’s surprising sometimes how many people don’t do it.
The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
