I’d say as far as organized Guilds it would be GH, GD, RG and VotF to name a couple.

As for my opinion, i’ve been on so many different servers, half of anet’s revenue last year was probably from me transferring around, the other half would be the AGG costs of transfers. I think dF from far shiverpeaks really stand out, iNk from gunnars deserves a mention, EP from whatever server they are on now, i pugged around with ST a few times and they were really good too.

Nope. From what I’ve seen of them recently I’d say that video pretty much sums them up.

GW2 wvw is far form being a game wich requires skill.

Which is like saying: “no SPvP/TPvP, no best guilds”.

Recruiting, training, gearing, guilds to map, comping, cross map coordination, blob/havoc coordination, militia management, logistics (siege, food, banners etc) positioning, buffing, veils, CC, DPS dumping, rebuffing and healing, stomping (or not), and maintaining these over extended sessions are all skills that good blob WvW guilds have – it’s a different but broader skill set in a more chaotic environment than GvG.

From my experience on NA: NS, EP, HB, and SUPR (old CA) all stand out as exceptional WvW guilds. Going old school, Condemned from Titan Alliance was very good. Special recognition for TKG, they were a joke in WAR and early to mid-GW2. But they’ve transformed themselves into a tight, effective guild. My vote for most improved.

I think that dF, TA, DISS, iNk and TUP are the top5 guilds around atm (not in order).
DAWN deserves a mention too. All others are mostly bandwagoners.

The most impressive guild I’ve ever seen has been HB. There were a lot of times where I’d just stop and watch in awe as they were kicking the crap out of me. I remember when I first saw them shortly after launch. I was defending the NE tower, and they rolled up. They had 3 rams up, perfectly placed, and built within 2 seconds and came in and took the place like none of us were even there. I got to see them a lot that week, and as a result my repair bills were astronomically high.

I don’t know how good they are at GvG, but they’re the best I’ve ever seen at WvW.

Most don’t care about how good guilds are at WvW because numbers not skill take precedence.

That being said there are good WvW guilds out there just I wouldn’t bet on them vs top GvG guilds

tM, SPCA, and Holy are all amazing guilds. RUN is another favorite of mine.

I’ll throw in a vote for TBT from low teirs, open field WvW I’m not sure if I’ve seen a guild in bronze to match them.

For the lower tiers, CoSa is pretty awesome.

+1 This. I had a blast fighting HOPE. They stood out in my mind for more than just a bag farm. Good challenge in even numbers.

Best guilds at helping to pull down a win for the server on any given week?

Best guilds at fighting in the open field?

Best guilds at defending?

Depending on what the OP is asking, the answers may be quite different. I commented two months ago and said best ever was VoTF.

I would say that [HOBO] is a really good all around type guild. It is an international guild, so it has a guild leader in EU (Underworld) and in NA (Emry Bay). Active in WvW, and they run PvE bosses and dungeons frequently together.

Depends what in what field you’re talking about. GvG and open field is very different.

I’d say KH and VR were the best in open field about a month or so back, but they are both a little inactive currently. So it would probably have to be someone else.
