Best WvW Server US.
You’ll have to pay to transfer if you aren’t happy with the WvW on your current server. You can only guest pve stuff.
Go to Eredon Terrace… They need people…
WvW Rank 3800 (Platinum Veteran) – PvP Rank 69 (Shark) – 25,9k Achievment Points
Mërcenaries [Sold] – Ferguson’s Crossing
The three highest ranked servers are currently Jade Quarry, Sea of Sorrows, and Sanctum of Rall. Whether these are the “best” servers depends on your criteria.
Lol, people still bandwagon even after the paid transfers.

Bam! And we don’t bite, spawn camp, queue for maps, or suck too bad
Edit: Ferg’s Crossing is also a good server to play on. Both of our servers are often outnumbered but we fight hard for what we have and we have fun with every minute of it. We don’t have the numbers to faceroll zerg people but we make up for it most of the time with strategy and player skill.

If your good at PvP, you may still be terrible at WvW. With larger servers like Jade,SOS etc, you’re going to experience something entirely different than on a lesser populated server. A good thing to check into is a servers “Oceanic coverage”. What I mean by this is players from different time zones. Strong WvW servers have 24/7 coverage, and can compete at all times. So if you work odd hours, or do your gaming after Prime Time (when most people are on), you’ll be able to get on and have organized competitive play.
I would recommend those servers if your just starting out. Smaller servers can be a bit more ‘elite’, and though unable to compete with cross coverage can offer superior small scale play. I find this to be the most fun, and if you got the skills you can do a lot. Hooking up with a good WvW guild is important too. Do your research and see what best suits you’re style.

Keep in mind the price of your transfer is based on the population of the server your going to. Idk what the max is but id imagine it probably wont be cheap to transfer to a major WvW server.
With the WvW reset coming, I would give it a couple weeks to have a look at the shift in ranks before you decide which server to transfer into.

Be aware- price for transfer depends on what tier you transfer too… tier 1 is much more expensive than lower tiers.
Candid advice- wait a few weeks for ratings to settle out before making a move. Now is a bad time to decide who is #1, etc.
Hey, i’m taking a break from spvp and wanting to play more worldvworld.
What’s the best servers to go on, world vs world wise? Thanks.
Any server with a short queue is better than any of the top tier’s atm, however that is just my opinion. Lower tier servers have a lot of open area where you can find yourself with some great 1v1’s and 5v5’s. You hardly run into that 100+ man zerg on any of the maps.
Server: Jade Quarry | Recruitment: Open
In all honesty, if you want to transfer to a top-tier server, these next few weeks are the best times to do it.
With the stiff competition in T1 and T2 keeping servers from “excelling” there is little reason to believe most, if not all T1/T2 servers not be displaced by servers like Kaineng or Ehmry bay who are decent, but are facing little to no competition.
In short, most of the true top tier servers are going to find themselves in mid tiers for a couple of weeks before we make our way back to our proper tiers again.
So if you want to switch, do it while the high end W3 servers are displaced for best gem price.

Right now isn’t a good time to transfer in my opinion. Paid transfer are already in place so there is no harm to wait a little.
Anet promised us a big update for February but we don’t really know what it’s gonna be and what changes will be made. Right now, WvW is zerg oriented (zerg = massive amount of player running together). So numbers > skills at the moment. Maybe the next update will change it a bit, we don’t know. That makes it hard to know which server will trives after next patch. Although I don’t think much will change.
Also, if you aim at top tier servers, you’ll experience a 24/7 queue on every map. Which can be frustrating at times. In about a month or so, the servers should be back at their rightful places (the rating reset is gonna be a mess at first) and hopefully every tier will be entertaining and balanced. What we have right now is some newly superstack servers grinding their way up the tiers with their new population increase and it’s never fun to either be overwhelmed all the time by 1 server or just overwhelm the other 2 servers you’re facing.
Another aspect of your reserch should be the comunity. Although everyone will tell you that their server have the best comunity, one of them out there is a better fit for yourself then the others, you can spend some time reading the posts and try to figure out with who you would like to be playing. All with some reserve though since people posting on the forum aren’t always representative of the whole server lol….
So I would suggest waiting a little for things to settle before investing into transfering to another server right now. Who knows, you might enjoy your current server battles and save yourself some money

PS: I might be wrong, but Kellnor’s post isn’t accurate. The price of the transfer is based on total population and not WvW ranking…..tranfering to JQ right now as top tier 1 server will be the same price as transfering to JQ next week when they drop to Tier 4 or 5.

I do not understand the OP;s question. How can you really determine the best server?
1. Go to a top tier server and wait in long queues but on a positive note you get to feel like you are better player
2. Go to a bottom tier server and play whenever you want to but you feel like you are playing in a development league
3. Go to a middle tier and get a mix.
There is no right answer.
1. Gem prices for transfers are based off of server population, not WvW rank. Correlation does not yield causation in this regard.
2. Any server that was in Tier 1-4 prior to the reset is pretty well organized.
3. To this day, other than RUIN at launch, I have never seen a 100+ man zerg. Even the largest guild groups in Tier 1-2 roll in groups of 40-50 and people may sell it short as “lawlfacerollzerglingnoobs”, but there are group composition builds and extensive micro strategy and great communication. On reset night, we were wiping forces roughly twice the size of ours with relative frequency in the open field (40v70).
4. It really depends on what your flavor is. What are you looking to get out of WvW? Smaller WvW servers in lower tiers aren’t necessarily more “elite”, they just carry out the same battles as larger groups do on more active WvW servers. If you want WvW for the large scale combat, Tier 1-3/4 can probably suit you very well. Especially in Tier 3/4 you would be able to make a huge difference as an individual. Anything Tier 5-8 is likely much smaller scale and if you want the sPvP feel in the open world and specializing in small teams, a server that does that more commonly is probably a good home for you.

My best memories r in Kaineng when we were crushed by Devona Rest in Tier 8, and now in magumma, being crushed at night against Kaineng in Tier 3.
The best server is not the highest tier, is the server who fight more and clever and never give up ^^
Im thinkin about Eredon … Lets see what happen in next weeks with this reset ><
