Guild Wars 2

So I am relatively new to the game but mostly new to WVW and I am also really only play back line ranger and rev. I am willing to start a new char and change. So what kind of classes and builds should I use.

Guardian/Dragonhunter.

Guard for sure. There’s an old school one that most run, don’t know if anyone can provide link but it works pretty well for me.

Dragon hunter/Guardian.

Just made a quick basic WvW frontline guardian build. You can always tweak it. But i think to start this is the most basic one

Notice that I only used soldiers gear. I suggest to start you go very tanky to learn the flow of battle. Even when your used to play backline. As a frontline it’s still a huge difference imo. Later you can always swap out some trinkets to berserker when you feel the time is right.

little tweaks

1) you can swap Greatsword for hammer. more blast’s and a imob. But you don’t have a leap or a pull. When you go hammer you should change Honor trait line into dragonhunter to have a leap on your f2

2) runes. melandru, durability, hoelbrak, soldiers. each one has it’s advantages

3) If you see there are a lot of range classes with reflectable projectiles. swap purging flames or hold the line to wall of reflection.

Well this isn’t probably the best guardian frontline build. But imo it’s a pretty kitten god one to start out with.
