Best class for Solo/Small group Roaming?

I love my scrapper. Decent solo, dirty in team fights. Honestly though? Mobility is king, particularly the ability to engage or disengage. Recently started roaming on my thief and it’s amazing. Therefore id suggest warrior
i would say scrapper or warrior, warrior has alot of sustain, very good damge, and desingage like a true coward runner.
Real men use Necromancer for the most part. Not that reaper crap, old school Death shroud baby.
However, if you are one of “those” players…..you know who you are…..Thief and Warrior are king IMO. I brushed the dust off my warrior the other day and was impressed with the class, very awesome damage and sustain. Overall, I’m just a stay and fight fan I guess hence the necromancer love.
Definitely do not play your thief, yikes you need some work there.
you want to get impressed by the one you kill and walk like a boss? go play necro or guard, or scrapper, anything except those i-poop-my-pants runners class… :p

Solo roaming is either a power thief or pretty much any mesmer hands down. Both classes have good-to-high mobility to avoid large groups and are able to jump in against larger numbers with the option for an exit. Pretty much any other class will get run down. Depending on builds both classes scout well, are great for flipping sentries/camps and make excellent +1 skirmish classes.
Next tier sits with the reasonably mobile bunkers which include Druid and Scrapper. They do decent damage and can basically tank 2 or so players. They are also very difficult to run down with high sustain, solid CC support and access to very useful stealth.
The warrior is sort of in that mix but requires exceptional play to fend off multiple opponents and maintain solid kill capability. They are mobile but generally have to rely on sustain and mobility which wears out or they go full bunker which guts their damage. Condi variants can be dangerous but good players just wait from them to stop glowing then open up.
Condi thief… well that is a troll/gank build. It is marginally OK at scouting and generally horrible at flipping camps/sentries. Some builds can be a handful but most are more annoying than dangerous.
