I really don’t want to buy more character slots! Since I can’t have of one of each profession; I’ll just have one in each role. Help me decide which profession is better for what they will be doing for the Zerg.

Infantry: Warrior or Guardian

Artillery: Necro or Engineer

Support: Elemental or Ranger

Special ops: Mesmer or Thief

This way I can I have one profession for what ever mood I’m in :-)

…and to make this post “on topic” – Paralda’s advice is good.

Most Professions can cover multiple roles well so I’d focus more on deciding what your 5 favorite ones are as Warrior and Guardian are both great in Support in addition to Infantry, and Necro specced and geared correctly can do quite well in a Frontline role.

easy mode: guardian, warrior
medium mode: thief, elementalist, necro
hard mode: engi, ranger, mesmer

Ofc, all professions are easymode if you do not aspire to perform as good, or better then any other profession that is played seriously.
