Sea of Sorrows is the ‘unofficial’ Oceanic server, but I don’t know if its Oceanic presence is actually that big compared to T1 servers.

I don’t think SOS is really considered the unofficial anymore. Not after the “semi collapse”. I know there are still regulars who stayed around. I think BG might have the most active atm. Particularly after The Kelly Gang transferred there. SOR seems to strangely have a lot also, but AFAIK none of the major big guilds are predominantly Oceanic.

oceanic was concentrated on SoS and on IoJ but has spread out across servers in the last few months (which is a positive I think). SoS probably has the most PvX guilds still.

Maybe BG SoS and then SoR and TC have the biggest oceanic numbers now (who play WvW) but a lot of servers have people there now. That’s separate from Asian-timezone guilds (such as the guilds on DB and JQ).

What happened to JQ? You all were like HoD 2.0 a few months ago. 3-5 players? Man most servers would beat you all in that time.

That’s only during oceanic hours which everyone is at eb and some would go to JQ bl to defend Garri , you pretty much have to wait around for 11:00pm for the asian crew to come which are pretty good but it can be late if you got to get up early

They’re SEA, not Oceanics.

tc got a few oceanics running round

Its hard to complain about coverage when you are already in tier 1. Your same oceanic that got owned in tier 1 will probably dominate in tier 2 oceanic time.

JQ has very few in Oceanic timezones. Even when they were quite dominant a few months ago. With some or all of Omen, EMP aka (RE), TKG, and etc that left… I think JQ’s Oceanic dropped even some more. Btw, I remember seeing how SOR was cheering when part of EMP (aka RE) left saying it’s good for competition.

As of right now, when it comes to Oceanic time, BG is the server that has them all. They’ll be the server PVD’ing at that time. Unless SOR or JQ putting out overtime, they’ll both be outmanned.

We have many militia during the oceanic slot and 2 main guilds which do active WvW during the slot and have open recruitment.

TS we field roughly 25-40 and AoA which fields between 15-25, the rest of our force is made up of predominantly militia.

SoS has the largest amount of Oceanic players in the game. As for WvW focused players, BG probably has the most now since a large chunk of SoS went there and a lot of IoJ went to FA, got disgusted and left for BG as well.

For non-NA coverage:
The best Oceanic goes BG/SoS/TC
the best SEA goes BG/JQ/DB/CD
For Euro it’s SoR/BG/?? TC (don’t know if true Euro, or unemployed LARPers)

I’d be curious to see how we’d go against BG in oceanic time. The way the rolls are going to determine matchups I’m sure it’ll happen soon enough.

Sure but last few weeks you haven’t had to face servers like SoR and TC and DB (which makes a bit of a difference to our potential +ppt) so not really a direct comparison.

Sadly enough there weren’t many oceanic players playing GW2 actively to start with and due to attrirition a lot of us seem to be going to 1-3 servers;

BG; MERC (25 per night), NOC (10-15 on WvW nights)
SoR; HIRE (25 per night), OCX (10-15 on WvW nights), XPK (10-15)
TC; Unreal Aussies (not sure).

Wherever you go you will have to go to any of the higher ranked servers to avoid excessive PvD – because who the hell wants to do that for fun.

guild wars2 chinese server takes tat huge massive JQ SEA timezone zerg which pretty much carry JQ few months ago and naw we’re back to JQ 1.0 when HoD still reigns

Unreal Aussies[uA] along with AVTR, EPX, PRO and now NV are all on FA.

You forget who FA was matched against before this new matchup system and I think we are facing TC this week, not sure though…..
