Randomly when playing WvW your screen turns black, but you can still see yout pointer and options menu. Also, when entering under-water your screen also turns black for a few seconds.

Nothing to do with my graphic card. I was roaming and all my guildies had the same problem. Also, not all the screen turns black, cause I can still see the options menu.

What? This happened universally?

Did you guys fall under the map or something?

It happens to me every time I go underwater. Comes back in a second or two, started just recently like after the update.

Been happening to my girlfriend. Without fail, it’s every time she goes into water.

Yeah it’s harsh. I take longer routes just to avoid water. What vid card she have I use a Radeon 6800.

Happens to me when I go in water too, every time.

Do u have a ati card?
If so, uninstall your actual drivers and get the recent ones.

p.s this is a known bug that apears on the ati drivers overtime/release.

Having this problem as well. Having no issues with any other program. Graphic tests all come up normal. Older ATI Radeon card, but with recent drivers. Happened since the recent update, never before.

I think there’s a thread in the Bugs forum about this. Have a guildmember who gets the black screen when he goes in the water. He uses the Mac client.
