Bloodlust capture point bug
It’s not a map UI bug. I personally decapped a point while the clock was ticking. The clock just kept going, even though I just took away a cap point and BG now only had 2.
This is prolly a bug. Reported by some1 else with a screenshot.
I had a similar issue today. However I believe it was a map UI bug. It said that JQ had 3 bloodlust stacks (time was ticking to switch) and only one was displayed on the map. I went to the NW node near garrison and when I arrived it was 90% JQ and I had to decap it, despite it being displayed on the map as neutral.

There is currently a bug with the UI of the events. It is not possible to capture the buff with fewer than 3 ruins held, it’s just that the display isn’t updating properly and it appears that way on occasion. We are aware of the issue and are doing our utmost to fix it ASAP. Thanks for the report.

It is possible to capture. BG did it 3 times in the last hour with holding one base. We held 3 bases for 2 minutes, most of us left the middle, BG took 3 bases, lost 2 of them with 1:30 left and the cap went through.
So please, turn it off or get it fixed.

Here are some screenshots to confirm. This horribly imbalanced and broken bloodlust buff isn’t only broken in game design and balance, but also in it’s code.
