For WvW, can you implement a way in which blueprints can be accessed regardless of the character you’re playing?
I usually play ranger and have all my prints on him, but now that I’ve gotten other chars to level 80, I find it frustrating to be swapping prints between chars.
Could we have a pack in our inventory that’s account wide? 20 slot would be ideal. With such an addition, we could store prints in such a pack and switching chars would allow us to have access to prints without the hassle of swapping them via the bank.
PvE could benefit as well by storing boosters and other things in this pack for example.
Bottom line is regardless of what char I’m playing, it’s still me and I’d like to have access to my stuff whenever I need it, regardless of “who” I’m playing.
The wallet that we have now for currency was an excellent improvement. Adding an account wide storage pack would improve the game as well.

+1 here, add siege to the wallet or create a siege wallet. Comm tags are account wide, having your siege available to allow your toons make as much if not more sense.
This really rolls up into the popular request that is GW2-wide instead of just WVW wide to enable an ‘account bag slot’. Depending on what you play, each user would put what they want there.
Examples
- Food/Potions (lots needed for dungeon potions, etc)
- Seige blueprints
- Unlimited salvage kit
- Other infinite use items – banker, mystic forge node, etc
- Gathering equipment (if you are willing to unequip and equip per character)
- Mawdrey for dust eating
- Etc
I’m not sure if “usable” items can really work from inside the wallet. if you don’t have an object in your bag to double click on, how would you use it?
what I used to do was keep about half my siege in the bank (where any character could get at it) and the other half was split up among the characters I played most often.

well something like a bank with 12 slots only for the siege (normal + superior) would work i guess…
like a second inventory but accountwide like a bank
I like the idea. One way to implement it while retaining the ability to sell blueprints on the market could be to make blueprints a bit like the Mini’s and how you ‘consume’ them to add them to your wardrobe.
Just have a Right Click option for a stack of Siege prints “Add to Siege Wallet”
To use the siege, a person could just open the Siege Wallet and double click to consume 1 charge of Catapult Blueprints, for example. Using the Stow option would add a charge back to the wallet (or alternatively return the blueprint to inventory)
please Siege wallet.
please please please please please please please
As someone who plays with a couple of characters I have to admit it’s a minor inconvenience to swap siege between characters, but seriously folks, there’s much more major changes needed than this. I consider it a minor quality of life improvement, I wouldn’t want major time dedicating to this when there are huuuge problems with WvW at the moment.

But this could be a step in the same direction with regards to functionality as unlimited tools and salvage kits being account wide.
The ability to quickly transfer blueprints among players in the middle of combat can be an important piece in accomplishing battle objectives. Siege wallet would be helpful so long as it did not make siege account bound (non-transferable between players).
This might be difficult from an implementation perspective on Anet’s end given that (I believe?) existing wallet items are account bound. Personally I would be thrilled to see the type of ‘account bag slot’ referenced by ShiningMassXAcc.4735 above.

Perfect application, thanks!

This. Any character is always parked in front of any kind of bank access before log out. It happens quite often that I have to transfer ascended stuff, siege, food between characters (alt-holic), so while this is minor inconvienence I can leave with out
BTW, basic rams catas and acs cost just a few silvers, the 3-4 alts I use the most in WvW always have a good stock of them, so always ready “on the go”
When I’m planning to do a serious raid and require superior blueprints and guild catapults, I take my time to prepare, it’s not that those 3 minutes will change my life.
the idea is obviously too good, dont get your hopes up…
