Bodyblocking in wvw
It exists only in the form that helps you personally with not missing/running past your target. Look for “Melee Attack Assist” in options menu.
That is simply killing alot of depth in mass scale fights. =/ Not to mention that running thru someone is like a free dodge…
Player collision doesn’t exist because it adds a crazy level of technical logistics when we already frequently breach the threshold of server transmission/message capacity (see: Skill Lag).
I believe if you have an enemy selected, you are body blocked by him. If he doesn’t have you selected, I do not think he will be body blocked (even if you have him selected).
So uh I guess you can body block yourself if you wanted to…

Skill lag is entirely fault of wvw as system. Because it encourage “more of us then them” instead of “more of us then them on more places”, in other words more spread out battlefield with more smaller sized groups instead of one mega blob…
Anyway you say that we dont have a feature because they dont want to invest into their server infrastructure? Maybe then they should change placeholder model into one of ascalonian ghost, because i sure feel like one when someone run thru me…
