EB yak escorts are semi-exciting, and having to choose between “do i want my yak alive” and “do i want fat yaks” is actually a valid decision on the first upgrade. Sometimes you get a double ambush + a hostile sentry and that yak is dead without a hostile player even hitting it.
PLEASE add this to borderlands! It was a nice addition to EB, please make it happen on borderlands!
It would make sense to use the existing centaurs / skritt to mount yak killing expeditions if they are not regularly exterminated in their camps.
