How would getting gold from killing other players as a new reward impact wvw ? I was imagining a system where the higher the ranks, the higher the reward.

Will this suffice to tone down k-train and / or promote an open world pvp environment ?

How badly can such a system be abused ?

Would this be healthy for this game mode ?

Make the bounty very low at start, then grow exponentially based on kills & map objectives ?

This might encourage a little more the zerg play, but I think the prime issue here is to make people stay on wvw they should be able to play along the wvw mechanics, have fun AND earn adequate rewards.

How about instead of bounty based on rank theres a significant bounty based on how long you’ve stayed alive/not died through out the time you’ve been online.

Atm there’s sucha system where you get higher wvw exp from players that havent died for a while, like a killing spree. (atleast there was such a system, don’t know if it’s still there)

That would be kinda interesting for roamers tbh.
On the other hand it would prob. make the bounty players feel the need to stay with larger groups. Then again roamers are pretty good at picking people off

how is some1 suppose to know who has a high bounty based on fact if he stay alive long and killed many people or took alot of objects?
i mean i used to roam quite often but i just picked off who ever was slacking..
if i knew i could finish u off before majority of players could reach u that would be a slacker and a nice target. no chance in hell i could possibly guess that this guy has a nice bounty on his head.

none the less i do like the idea but i doubt it would work out theres always kitten lurking around the corner to be abused

and based on your idea i would go after all guardians/ele/necro’s since they tag like monsters thus makes them most likely have good bounty no?
