Just putting the idea out there, im pretty sure it was suggested before. But how would you like to see a bounty system in WvW ? Think it would improve roamer / small group fights ? There would be a board at spawn that you can use to place bounty’s on people, maybe by name or picture of their toon. Other people would then search the Borderland that they’re in looking for it, and who ever gets the kill first gets the bounty. There would also be a grace period for someone who has had a bounty on them, meaning they wouldn’t get the bounty on them right after the bounty was received when they were killed. To stop people from trying to continue putting a bounty on someone over and over.

Well it works in GTA V but idk how well the system would work be if implemented here.

I kinda like your idea. But I do not see that working with Gw2 WvW.

There kind of is one with wexp but there no tell of who has more wexp on there head.

Can I put a bounty on the heads of my guild leaders? I don’t really care if specific people die on other servers, but I could use the chuckle for getting people to kill my friends

ANet has gone to some length to promote anonymity in WvW. A bounty system, while it would not reveal the name, would work against that anonymity. I always thought, if I wanted to see a particular player be defeated in WvW, I should defeat him myself.

I’d imagine that you’d have to front the bounty money yourself, minus a listing fee, so killing your own alts would result in a net loss of gold.

Can necromancers be excluded?

Our hamstrings are kinda absent, so we can’t run and escape like those glittery mesmers, power lifting warriors, or elegant wine drinking thief’s.

Well it will have a grace period.. but there will always be a way around something when trying to send gold between accounts if thats what you’re getting at.

If the person who had the bounty on his head got the reward when he killed the one who set the bounty, I’d be all for it. Otherwise it’d be way too one sided victimising in a lot of cases.

That, and only one bounty on your head at a time. Unless you want to further encourage pin sniping by blobs.
