its sad seeing all these changes, although GH won both weeks we fought you (the second week by a lot because of [Krew] and their nightcapping) At primetime across all borderlands there was epic fights no, one server was better than the other it was literally the perfect matchup. then of course free transfers ruined this as RoS got the influx of t1 guilds. so all I can say is I for one will be hoping to meet you two servers in the same matchup in the future!

I would love this. We beat Dz 2 out of the last 3 times, and they beat us their fairshare before that so we’re about as even as you can find down here. GH usually has more than us, but without a night cap guild it’d be a lot closer than our last fights against them.

If the Surmia transfers would’ve never happened T7 and T8 would’ve had much better fights and more even ones, but I guess you can’t help that.

Yeah… our win two weeks ago was one of the best accomplishments in WvW, but you’re right that those weeks of RoF/Dz/GH were basically the high water mark of epic WvW matches and things have never quite been the same since.

Still I’m optimistic that this new system might bring us some really fun matches once things settle down

Just one correction, it wasn’t the free tranfers. We paid for every single guildie to move to RoS.

Have to agree with this. GH did have the advantage, numbers wise, for a week or two but with a few guilds moving away I think the numbers would have been lot more even now.

RoS moving up and stalling pretty much messed up the opportunity to face RoF and Dzag on a more even footing.

Hopefully, once Anet have finished having their fun with a totally unbalanced matchup for us this week we will get a bit more balance next week.

Kudos to that, I had such a blast on the past 2 weeks figthing against RoF and Dzag. Great open battles, fort takes and everything related with it. Now guess what? We got T3 and T4 on our tails.. All the time! Not fun at all.

True, we got always something to do even if sometimes is meaningless. With that high tick you guys are bored for sure.

We will keep fighting and see what will happen on the next match up.

I’d like to see this matchup again, those were the funniest weeks in my gw2 history!

Cap Plox you was having just too much fun last week outside SE keep of EB, when you solo a group of enemy on your own. I don’t belive you wanted any one to join you from rof.

But yes I agree with your post and I do hope they put us with 2 servers that match us or out match us a bit or a lot of players will not bother playing on wvw any more. All this week been good for is the PVE player to get there 100% map done on wvw. I my self now got all 6 characters done and even was fun to own our own JP in eb. I even seen a lvl 25 in the jp as it was that safe for them.

I enjoyed that matchup too, definitely felt more balanced, like we all had a shot. And this week is just…you know that episode of the Simpsons when Homer gets a helper monkey? “Pray….for….Mojo….”

This would be an excellent matchup. It is now possible with the new system too so here’s to hoping

Even after Krew left GH still won the last matchup 80k points in the lead, it was however with FIRE so no idea what it would be like now. GH can be very strong or weirdly weak, it seems to vary alot but fighting against CHvC was fun, more so because of it’s open field fighting than VcY with it’s running up to the stairs – Line of Warding – AoE bomb tactic that soo many RoF commanders still insisted on stacking against… -.- It would be a classic matchup.

I reckon we’d win it but that doesn’t really matter does it?

And yeh we lost FIRE but gained FURY so I don’t think that will matter much

I miss the setup too but for this weak I’m glad that we have to deal with WSR and BT, I’m ashame of Dzag as they play right now. Believe me, you wouldn’t find any fun in our match this weak, maybe victims and laughter :-/
