Im writing this in the middle of night and heading bed right after I wrote it, but anyhow, here goes.
What do you think about siege being sold in TP? Is anyone getting bored out of all the siege thrown in to the fights? Tell your story, show me some tiers, were they from joy or from agony.
But yea, I have to stand on the side that pretty much hates it. First when they made it, I though “Ok, this is cool. Now I don’t have to waste every penny I have into WvW anymore. I can buy it cheaper from TP, yey!”
But after a while, I realized the bad side of it. Being a defensive fellow here. I like to siege up keeps, towers, camps and what not. Countering siege and so on. That’s where I find my fun in WvW. Anyways to the point. I feel like Golems, especially Omega Golems, are now way too cheap and common on the field. They used to be those “Dam, thats like 10 gold walking there right now, take a dam good care of them”. But now you can have 10 omegas with less than 10 gold.
This trend of golem rushing is pretty much killing my fun of the WvW, which is siege. Yeah, kinda ironic that my fun that is siege, is being ruined by the same thing, the siege.
And before anyone jumps in and says “Golem rushing has existed since the dawn of man”. Well yea, it’s true. But at least it was doable back then, as it was around 10 or maybe 20 alphas on one night if it was a really busy night. Now you can see the same numbers on one wave you used to see on the whole day and night.
Anyways, I would like to hear a lot of different opinions. And I’m not here to say whats not fun. I’m just expressing how I have felt after the siege came to the markets.
