Camping siege
I really play this game for player combat.
I hate to be that guy, but it sounds like you’d enjoy SPvP and TPvP more. WvW is only half people vs. people; the other half is strategic siege-driven warfare.
If tpvp/spvp was not ruled by players who win trade and only play vs teams they don’t know I’d be a fan. That player base is on level with call of duty
T/SPvP is not “ruled” by anyone; the forums are no indication of anything. If you’re low ranked (or completely unranked), the system is pretty decent (solo/duo queue could use splitting, but that’s happening eventually). There are lots of level-headed and nice people playing it; I meet quite a few of them every time I decide to play it.
It also reminds me of wow battlegrounds and arena. Wvw lets me be free like a wild stallion majestically roaming.

sPvP is boring with the same map and victory types. The PvP in WvW offered free form, dynamic small and large scale PvP. This is being lost with the AC change with WvW being turned into SiegevSiege.

Spvp/tpvp would be nice if it wasnt ruled by people that can just stand in a point the longest.
It’s always amusing seeing this from certain servers. SBI and DH comes to mind. Seriously, they would have every cannon in every map manned 24/7.
That being said, I can’t blame the people who do this. They are probably really nice pugs who just picked up the game and feel they are doing what they can in the name of their server

One of the x many who think its all about open field zerg fights i guess -.-" i love the fact its making siege mechanics and weapons actually a require doing a siege.
