I’m utterly confused at the moment. My world, Northern Shiverpeaks, is fighting this week against Crystal Desert (who just went up to 8th place) and Devona’s rest (12th place) while we’re in the 13th spot. I thought tiers were decided in groups of 3 starting from the server ranked first down? How exactly did Crystal Desert ended up paired with NSP and DR (in GW2’s website, CD is even defined as being T4).

There’s a random element to the matchmaking. So you can be matched up with servers in a certain range of your rating.

You just beat DR last match and with the addtion of CD you can test your mettle against them as well.

Although it looks like the NSP warriors who have pulled long hours to win the last match fell asleep at their keyboards right after that match ended.
