Can we just put Eredon Terrace to the bottom of the rankings?

The whole point of having three servers is to maintain a semblance of balance. The two weaker sides gang up on the strong server. In practice, though, this does not happen. The weak server is taken out and repeatedly pummeled because it’s easy pickings.

This is especially true because, often, the weak server is absurdly weak compared to the other two servers because they are barren servers that had massive transfers out after reaching the top.

Take a look at Eredon Terrace. They are humiliated every week starting from day one. It’s not fun for anyone involved. They ranked #1 in the worst server category (the biggest movers down in ratings) in the last match ups out of all the NA servers. The sad part is, this came after weeks of getting destroyed. Given the way rankings work, it will take a while before they are matched with servers they can not just get obliterated by.

Just drop them to the bottom already. It’ll provide more interesting matches for all parties.

Henge of Denravi is in the same situation. And yes it is bad service from for Arenanet to allow such obvious and longstanding problems to go on for over a month like this.

At this point though if nothing has been done I wouldn’t count on anything being done. Considering that I would say you must solve the problem yourself in either action or outlook.

The worse is over at least. You guys probably just have another week to two months before you level out, and transfers are still in effect. You could move to Ferguson’s crossing until Eredon straightens out and then move back.

I know that suggestion isn’t ideal, but if Anet was going to do anything it should have been weeks ago, your choices are either endure it or move away.

This is the biggest weakness of the current ranking system: Mass player fluctuations are not accounted for fast enough.

Yeah, I love HoD and the people who have stuck it out over the last month but man, getting absolutely pummeled and essentially fighting the entire week to hold the one northern supply camp in our borderlands is getting old.

Dragonbrand was in the same situation for 3 or 4 weeks after a mass server transfer. Now we’re finally in the right tier(s) and having great fun again.

I can’t argue that A-net should have nipped this problem in the bud.. but rest assured that things will get better once ET and HoD fall to the proper rank.
