As of right now there is only one possible server that could benefit from a week 7 match and that’s stormbluff isle. The current divisions need to be adjusted and from what I’m seeing this has been an absolute slaughter. Right now Henge has enough points to beat both the 4 and 5 ranked teams put together. You got a lot of players not enjoying wvw because there is little competition. You should scrub this as a test run give everyone some rewards and move us into next season. Or put the top three teams against each other so they can have a little competition instead of just rolling everything. Either people are gonna pay to move to another server or they gonna lose interest in this final week.

You have it 180 degrees wrong. The only server that has anything to lose by week 7 is SBI. If the season ends on Friday, SBI would tie for 2nd. Week 7 will see YB pass them in score if YB wins this week (as they are on track to do); pushing SBI to 3rd.
All those people will have to look in the mirror and wonder if it was worth emptying DH and DR to fill their rosters, and demoralizing IoJ to the point where they moved to FA and YB, creating their own downfall.

It’s very Greek tragedy, and very much a reason we SHOULD have a week 7.

I really believe week 7 will have too much of a negative impact on the losing servers. Not because they lost, but because they were completely facerolled.

And you forgot as well that NA isn’t the only region with a WvW season 1
in EU tons of servers can profit from week 7

Endure and in enduring grow strong.

Only a handful of servers were really far out of position in NA. NS and Maguuma ended going up a league due to sandbagging (intentional or not), but both have had a great attitude about it.

The only servers that are in poor shape to be in their own tier are Dragonbrand and SoR(not that they belong in Tier 2).

I disagree reluctantly.
You have reward chests coming that require a number of events to be accomplished to get the reward.
You told people how long they had to finish.
You have holidays in the US where you may find people would never even see the notice of the change.

In short, you just can’t make the change the OP wants.

A very impressive coordinated effort by YB and EB, even if unintended, has had us really biting the bullet across the field. There have been trolls, of course, but they’re on every side and don’t make a serious difference. The big kicker has just been that everyone’s looking at us this week, and it spreads what we’ve got thin. It’s been a lot of fun and a great challenge, I just don’t think we can overcome it.

People are going to be watching SBI very closely the next couple of weeks. If there is a significant drop in performance against DB people are going to write SBI off and possibly some of the folks currently there.

The big sign will be guilds doing a lot of farming.

I’m certain many still have outstanding achievements to acquire. Any hardcore scouts/escorts/builders have put in plenty of hours with little reward or achievements finished for their efforts. Let’s reward their diligence after so many weeks of enduring this season.

Dude, next week is a battle between SF and Dh for 2nd place… look beyond your own selfish desires before trying to ruin everything for the rest of us TY. This has been a highly anticipated matchup that Dh is looking forward too, and from what I can tell of the forums, many other folks in bronze are eager to see who wins.

Except that BG doesn’t go in for that kind of thing and SoR will be dying to make up for this weeks’ humiliation. I think JQ better be ready for a big scrap.

TBH Chris, I’m super excited for week 7, I have no Idea what is going to happen. SoR has to get first to tie TC for 3rd (If TC wins this week) BG and JQ are locked in 1st/2nd. So right now its a nothing to lose match. If its anything like week 1, its going to be a blood bath!

As a member of a servers who’s place is locked I am in favor of this so I can open my chest sooner. :P

Please don’t rob us of week 7. We’ve had garbage match-ups since week 1, it’s been soooooo boring. Even with SoR in a depleted state, I’m hoping for fights all week and some semblance of ppt competition.

That’s fine Banono. Good Luck. They aren’t going to cancel week 7 regardless of how many players may or may not want it.

Might be interesting for me, but I have a strong feeling that it’s going to be a boring week.

They need to not make points acquired tied just to how many keeps/towers/camps and add a factor of total number of players on each side. In short, your points per keep/tower/camp should be reduced the more people you have on the field versus the competition. Mind you, you still can win but now you have to do more with those big numbers and the smaller team can focus on keeping enough (with higher points per keep/tower/camp) to compete.

This should also focus the fights versus having it often be too interesting to just create a karma train. Would have to pay careful attention to what the smaller server is trying to accomplish and frustrate them.
