Since May 28th we cannot see our squad commander’s icon in the minimap, please fix.

My party members look like random green dots when zoomed in in WvW. Fix!

Very annoying bug for trying to see where your party is! FIXFIXFIXFIX.

This is just like the party UI bug. Sometimes happen and sometime not. Some people see and some people don’t. I have seen this bug prior to May 28th patch, but my first encounter was around May 20th~

It never was an issue for me to see the commander’s pin in the minimap since the release of this game. Up until today.

The problem likely is that the pin is covered up by green dots, which now go over top of the pin for some reason. I’m really hoping it’s a bug and not intentional, because it does make the pin disappear on the minimap quite easily in large battles, when it matters most.

make sure you are not in another commanders squad as if you are in one persons squad

there is also an issue with commanders pin not showing if you do not zone in to WvW with it up

I’m not asking for help, I fully understand how this simple mechanic works. I am saying that the commander’s pin do not show in the minimap since the latest patch, even if our commander swaps map with the pin open. Also reported by my guildmates.

Nah it’s happening to everyone in guild (60+). Nothing fixes it, and the green dots always show up on top.

Oui, this is annoying, all the green dots cover it up in large group ; A ;

Can’t see party members either.

Hey folks,

I was the commanding officer yesterday for several hours and it was a pretty big problem for some of our players to follow when we had bigger fights. I would also like to mention that the Commander icon is way smaller then the group target icon and has a much less visible colour for some of our players, including colour blind friends of mine.

Please consider to give commanders the choice to colour the icon like an piece of armor, and maybe 5 options for the size of the icon. It is pretty easy to change this, sicne this is not affecting much in the game, but would have a huge impact to help us organize the borderlands.

Please take a look at the options you are giving sqauds and commanders like seeing the healthbars and ALL! buffs of the players when you don’t display the group pictures.

I approve of this shameless bump. We’d really like to know whether this was an unintentional error or if Anet meant to have the pin suddenly covered up by green dots.

Yes, this is a huge problem. The commander icon is layered below the green dots. What’s worse is that the commander’s green dot for the commander is on top of his own commander tag (no, he’s not in my party).
