Cant believe im saying it...but thanks anet
I completely agree. This update isn’t a massive one to WvW but it is still a great update nonetheless. It’s amazing how just this little bit of attention brings so much joy and participation to such a large group of people. I love it. Thank you anet!
Agreed.
But you can’t rest on your laurels. You have to keep this up, because a reward track will not retain the serious WvW players, which is the driving force of this game mode. Balancing issues and server preformance have to come soon. A new map would be good, but learn the lessons of DBL. Everyone in beta told you that there were too many pve mobs, too many gimicks, hard to move from point a to b, and the meta event in the middle was disasterous for not only the game mode, but performance as well. It took about 6 months for you guys to fix the stuff right. But by then, it was too late and we lost a lot of good players. If you make a new map, have an alpha and listen to whomever you invite.
Keep up the good work. But seriously, keep it up.
Def agree w/ both OP and Spurn; this is a good start, but it’s a start. If this momentum can be maintained with further additions then a lively WvW might be a big draw for GW2 again.
Speaking optimistically; there’s a new expac sniffing around, with new elite specs to go with it, as well as elite specs for F2P players. Very excited to see what sort of good that’ll do for WvW and whether momentum can be maintained.
Agreed it is a good update and finally WvW is seeing what it needed a long time ago.
The balance is still grossly out of whack though and needs looking at like reaper runes and deathly chill, how tanky everyone can be and risk (or lack of) not being balanced against reward properly.
I agree too! I love the update!
Thank you a lot Anet, for all the rewards and in particular for the new guild decoration’s. I’ve always wanted to place siege in our guild hall
