Suggestion to solve population imbalance, split maps into different instances.
Main map = the map that actually matters, where the points are counted.
Overflow map = once cap in main map is reached, everyone else goes here and their contribution don’t count towards the main score.

No. It violate the principle of activity creating activity. If a 50 man zerg jumps to a border where there are 2 enemies AFK in spawn, the point is that the very presence of a 50 man zerg there forces the other servers to react and deploy people – preferably their own 50 man zerg.
All this will do is cripple the WvW population by constantly pushing down the bar. It wont go up again. People would just leave WvW sooner. Being outmanned isnt ideal for anyone but lower cap… no. I dont accept that.
Capping PPK/PPT based on population differences is a much more balanced approach.
i did think of this as a concept and then realized why the idea wouldn’t work.
the concept itself seems pretty good on paper. but 2 things says that its a bad idea.
1. it heavily slows down the pace of the game and everyone on that map
2. you can organize a server. flip everything. and tell no one to join WvW for the next hour. hold all towers and keeps, rack up PPK and laugh as 3-4 people at max cap try to filp back their entire side of eb
as much as i like your suggestion. it still heavily favors bigger populated servers

Better idea is that every server have same amount players in map.
