They’re very strong, although I prefer to roam far glassier than the celestial.

This. My advice is don’t do it, cele is as much a crutch as PU is for Mesmers. Go glassier, have fun and get better at the class than cele will let you imo. But it’s definitely funny destroying all the super cheese builds out there.

I wouldn’t say op. Roaming isn’t like pvp where you have to fight them on point. They are strong but beatable as long as you dodge their bursts. 9 out of 10 times they are free bags when I’m on my necro.

I started with zerk d/d but changed to celestial to better sustain through all the condi builds I run into. Not really fun when your entire 14k HP (with guard stacks) gets zero’d in around 0.5 seconds by stacking condi and CC. Would still recommend Celestial, as long as people keep playing condi. And why the hell not. Punish people for using dat cheese

A welcome addition and very strong. I was getting tired of seeing the same ole condi bunker builds so it is nice to see new power builds gaining ground.

Not really. D/D doesn’t really stack might but uses evades and targeted burst damage to wear someone down. That’s how I play it anyway. You just need 1 stack of might to get them strength runes working

That’s a part of it for most players yeah. Cele brings a ton of tankiness, might stacking brings respectable damage. Might stacking is so OP on cele ele because it buffs both power and condi dmg, when you get full might stacks you’ll have the same power as a full power build and a ton of condi dmg to back it up. Since pretty much everything ele does in fire attune does normal damage and burning, you can do insane dps.
