Would hurt a lot of strategy if workers took supplies.. also having walls or gates not repair after cap would just make it infinitely harder for small groups and encourage zerging even more, since they could have everyone just drop supplies to repair it. Mesmers would probably be used a lot more often as well since you could basically have another team repair a keep for you then just port in and take it back.

Not sure workers taking supply would hurt strategy but it would certainly change it. Servers would have to protect yaks and run supply to maintain their foothold on a keep all the time rather than just during the keep upgrades.

Not sure I was clear, I suggest changing keep repair to be worker only. Having to defend a keep while it is being repaired would become very important. A zerg couldn’t just repair a wall full up since repairs would take time. This would also open up small teams to perform raids on keeps left undefended and not secured from zerging.

Mesmers already port, how does this system change that?

The problem is sometimes repairing is a bad idea. Like when you have 5 trebs hitting you it is bad strategy to continually repair until the trebs are first dealt with.
