Classes should have WvW speciality skills
Let me be the first to add a Ranger ability to that list:
Ranger WvW skill “Reroll”:
The ranger magically transforms into a class that is useful for WvW. No cooldown, bound to F12 button.
All kidding aside, I like the creativity but these things sound like balancing nightmares:
- Engi: This one I like. It has no combat use/advantage and plays on the importance of supply in WvW. Although with 5 engineers in your team you could just take supplies to build a golem army at the gates of the enemy keep so it would be quite a bit OP.
- Thief: Stealth up, take a mesmer with you. All Keeps are now essentially towers.
Combine it with the Engi from above and build 10 superior rams for inner. ???. Profit.
- Mesmer: Shattermesmers pump a alot of illusions on their victims as it is. adding 10 clones to that -even at the expense of 5% dps – will give them a severe advatange in small scale.
- Necro: This one is severly underpowered in comparrison. With 20% of your stats you’ll die almost instantly.
- Guardian: As a Guardian I say bring it. Being able to rezz 10 dead players at the expense of merly downing -any warrior got banner-rezz for me please? – is pretty sweet and totally not OP.
- Warrior: 6 Seconds of unstrippable stability sounds good. However, the drawback of being rooted and a 250 recharge makes this one very underpowered.
Having said all that, I like the idea of having WvW-specific abilities depending on the classes. It could be cool to have some rolls that do not affect combat and balance out nicely.
