You figure out how to get replacement WvW dev’s and some of us might consider it.

I only WvW up until the new maps arrived. I absolutely miss WvW and it is horrible even trying to roam. It takes me more than 5 minutes to run around a desert just to be killed
by 7 guards in a camp along with wolf dogs (where the hell they came from). I left WvW and started to play my other online games until Anet brings back WvW. Also everyone seems to be Butt Jamming in EBG now. Thank God for one solid map

If by solid you mean constant disconnects, 2 second skill lag and huge queues then yes I’d give it a 10/10. I’m farming the labyrinth for one more day then trying to get some of the new PvE maps done and I am hoping (lol) that once I have most of them explored they will (again lol) have fixed some of the problems.

As for the new maps, nobody in my guild likes them, far to much PvE and some of the mechanics generally don’t promote skill at all, just ambush tactics; and I am not fond of those. I don’t know who did the beta testing on them but you would have been better off with just a wide open map with 3 spawn points IMO.

In closing, dear ANet, please fix the game mode I have come to enjoy for 3 years. Currently I have a choice of hoping you can hire an actual WvW guild to help you design maps or just wait until a new game is released that will “do it for me”.

WP in keep as soon as you take it? Zero reason to defend it, you can just take it back later.
What if you wanted to scout it because swords? Too big of a keep.

What if you wanted to solo? Not only can you not contribute in any meaningful way, but you can barely travel (lol barricades) and barely get a good roaming fight (lol burning and stealth).

No reason to come back.

There was another post with a great suggestion about Nuroch Holes that had a global cd of ~5-10seconds. It would prevent blobs from using them but would greatly improve travel for havok or roamers. Keep buffs obviously need to go. Waypoints obviously need to be earned, not given away for free. Keeps need to be easily scoutable (add a sentry), smaller (so they can be sieged up), dolyaks need to chill the —-- out.

All this on top of massive class rebalancing.
You can’t rush good pizza. Anet is serving us undercooked food. Not going to eat it.

Dead gametype is dead.

People are slowly starting to come back. Ignore the insane amount of doom prophets on the forums. Had a really good guild raid last night. EB is going to be your best bet for action for a while. The new BL maps are gonna take time for people to learn so many are naturally going to gravitate to EB for a while.

Gromit my little fruitbat, I do hope you’re wrong.
However as someone who in just over two years has ranked up to platinum colonel, (not showing off, just showing l’ve played a lot in that time) by roaming on what ever class I fancy and then grouping up to do my Ele thing for my server. Since HoT came out, I’ve hardly set foot in WvW except for guild stuff, my friends aren’t there, most aren’t even logging in
I really hope Anet has not killed WvW but it sure feels like it right now

We are WvWing ….just on EB and not the new maps. Try there.

We are, my guild just started doing stuff as a group there again this weekend. It takes time after a new match. I think alot of people are sorta finishing up halloween/thier new builds.

Though we had alot of fun there this weekend :0
