Hello, me and 2-3 others just got back to the game after not playing for almost two years. Couple of questions for you guys.

We are on Ehmry Bay, and I walked around in WvW for a long while and the place was absolutely empty. Is this normal? I remember the game being super active back when I played.

We also have 2 friends who are on Yak’s Bend, and they said that the WvW there seems active. I looked up server transfer, and not only does it costs like $20 something dollars to transfer, with the server being full, you can’t even transfer?

I had fun doing conquests again, but WvW was the selling point for us coming back to the game. What are our options here?

It really depends upon what your normal play timezone is.

It varies, but if server is not active at 3 pm in the afternoon, then that is no good for us.

Just checked mos millenium…yeah your server seems pretty dead to me.You’re ticking the lowest score atm in NA – 50p.I’m from EU myself,but depending on what activities you want to be doing most,zerging,small scale roaming or solo roam.. your best bet is to move up a bit in between the 1 – 6 servers.

OP, If you are really a veteran WvWer coming back, then you should know how to log in ehmry.com to check activity there.
If your friends at YB said YB “seems” active, they really didn’t play WvW very actively. YB is always active in the last 10 mos, afaik.
Our EBAY player has implemented this website to show the coverage of every servers in any time zone. We’re active from NA to OCX. Besides those time zones, we always welcome opposing server PvDs w/ open arm.

Ebay does seem different lately, a little empty I have to agree. T2….depends on what you want in wvw. I would think any server on T2 would be active but haven’t played on that tier for quite awhile now. I know the ques can be annoying when you just want to log on and enter a BL. If you like to roam with your bud, I think the mid tiers T4-5 would be better. But from your post, seems like you like constant action. Personally, the current T3 match up looks interesting with the close score and hopefully numbers on the maps. Just seems like the majority of other match ups are all blow outs currently I guess and can’t really be that fun with player motivation crushed.

most of the servers are suffering right now and its because a combination of demoralizing issues hitting all at once.

I think it started with the poor class balance in this patch, then mike and colin telling wvw players they dont exist, follow up with the… nvr to be forgotten golem event.

sure everyones excited for the new desert bl map but then realize HoT is prolly like 8 months away still and next balance patch in 4 months.

wvw activity is at an all time low.
