I try and avoid this by speaking as little as possible, but occassionally when things get hectic I’ve had to give out rapid fire instructions. Place the arrow cart here, close the gate, Push!, fall back, etc.

Nothing ruins my day (and a zerg fight) more then “Your message was suppressed”. I know there is a fear of a Spammer putting on a Commanders hat and then spamming away should A-net decide to remove message suppression for commanders, but couldn’t they at least make the threshold much higher?

I support this, message suppress can ruin many fights.

Maybe only available outside wvw (the chat suppresion for the commander), in wvw give us a little bigger threshold. That way the gold sellers or spammers wont take advantage of that.

I’m all for this and more. Let’s take it to another level by the removal of message suppression completely in WvW. I hit it easily while Porting in the JP from saying “NP” or “Anytime”. Becoming useless for actual /m chat.

i can’t say that i’ve ever seen gold selling spam in the chat in WvW. if it were to appear, it would get mass reported and then mass /ignored immediately. i mean, i’ve seen bots before, running naked laps near the skritt or blob farming the karka’s, but not in several months. i think goldsellers got the picture that giving that crap a try in WvW was very counterproductive and hopefully have given that up. if so, then chat suppression in WvW could be relaxed quite a bit, if not removed outright. and not just for commanders either.
