So I’ve been playing on NSP server and we’ve been matched against SF and HoD for several weeks in a row now. SF absolutely dominates. At the time of writing, they control the entire EB map, which I have never seen before. By the end of the rotation, they generally have twice as many points as either of the other servers in this bracket. It obvious that they have a LOT more active players in WvW. This is fine, they have earned their victory.

My questions are as follows: why are they not increasing in their rank so that they can face a server of similar skill/participation level? I figure the server ranking system is so that servers are matched against similar opponents, so why is the competition in this bracket so uneven? It’s not just that SF has a slight advantage over HoD and NSP. It’s night and day here. WvW is becoming very unfun and uncompetitive because of the uneven matchup. Lots of un’s! I don’t like un’s…

You’ve lived that 2 weeks. Think about ET and FC which had to endure that for months. They cant skyrocket us too high either, we need to earn our ranking ourselves.

Also, one of the reason we’ve got so many points might not only come from us. I’ve seen so many people post about their PvEcation or WvW vacation 2 days after we got in t7. A lot of you arent even trying.

Come back tomorrow morning and NSP will have taken all of our stuff back. We (almost) always do.

And let’s be completely honest: WvW is never a “fair fight.” Some people obsess over the fact that their server is losing in points and stop playing because they don’t think it’s “fair.” If you concentrate on just having a good time killing people and trying to take stuff, you’ll find that the server starts getting more points as a side effect.

If you like being the underdog, NSP is for you. If not, just try to have fun. That’s what WvW is supposed to be about. Like the SF guy said, this whole “I only play win we’re winning” attitude is what lost us the map in the first place.

Realistically, you need at least 3 times more men to win a siege and here i have the feeling that you can win 1:1 pretty easily by aoe on the walls (this should be disabled like asap) and roflstomping the weak keep lord.

Are these the same guys who claimed, T7 was far superior to T8 and the difference in ranking was justified, cause SF would get stomped badly in T7?
I’ve never seen the T8 guys cry that much.

If you were there when they had our EB, try and play wvw more, we took theirs the same day.

SF doesnt have much more people. For example, we never get top score during resets or if you watch the video of your golems rushes you were litteraly PvDooring all of EB. We simply dont quit when we loose stuff.
