Competitive WvW
anet didnt think that well about implenting the new stability how it would affect wvw because this change is only going to enhance guilds and blobs to play the pirateship meta instead of actual melee engagement.
Yeah, I always thought both sPvP and WvW need exclusive weapons and armor to them.
I also dont think youre going to get away from the Map Queue Blob either. Its just too OP to keep the PPT up. T2 apparently waas a fight tier before I showed up there.
It would take some dramatic changes to nullify the map queue blob. Like outnumbered being limited to area or something with adding stability buffs to it or something. (Im sure someone can find a reason why that wouldnt be a good idea. Im just rambling.)
Honestly, they need to create something inbetween sPvP and WvW. Competitive play that involves 15 to 20 people on each side.
People want it so bad they have made up their own way of accomplishing it in WvW though its a severely limited competitive play only resulting in a fight to the death. It just seems to me that would clue Anet into what would work for them.
And honestly, I think if they actually did do a 15-20 man competitive aspect t this game, they could probably get rid of EoTM as WvW would replace it.
