Well for anet balance only means bank balance and the bandwagons are wasting gems anyway,so who are we to talk?
They should just remove the gates as well,we don’t want the alliance leaders to actually use theyr brain,numbers should always win

I hopped on the oil today and mildly annoyed a group attacking my gate. I don’t think it downed a single person, nor did it do much damage to the rams. I was also, in a separate attack, on a cannon…it took like 5 shots to bring down a ram. The handful of assaulters were actually doing more damage to the cannon and me than I was to the rams. Considering how useless Cannons/Oils are most of the time, it’d be nice if they actually did relevant damage.
That said, I agree with this change to remove condi scaling…we just need higher base damage.
That reminds me,when they gonna nerf the dmg reduction stacking against normal siege?
Also how is considered fair to reduce condi duration with runes and food and the siege user who has condi gear get no benefit?

i hope they remove the scaling on power too, that way everyone who sits on the iron siege deals the same damage as the one with nomad’s and the nomad pips too who wont spread the love for siege during linking/merging

I’m fine with the change, but now make it so that a condi class can apply conditions to the siege. We shouldn’t have to spend 10x aslong to kill an AC if we don’t have an advantage somewhere else.
The ticks i got at times from sitting on mortar on my burn condi build…i laughed my kitten off,ive seen half zergs drop cus of 7 – 9.8k ticks a sec.It was stupid OP.

might increases condition damage as well form nearby allies and those who were in siege with condi.
siege scaling with condi for some players is not new.
Btw guardian F1 will apply burn on balista use (i think it still works).

Oha, heared about this condi-surplus on sieges long time ago – and did they really take that long to fix it!? What a shame – but this seems to be characteristic for a big lag in reaction time and on the other hand for the fact that most players prefer about 100+ new weapon skins and reward-chests instead ;-)
This is a shame. It was kind of interesting that condi players could get themselves on an arrowcart and could actually do some noticeable bleed damage to a zerg. Kind of allowed condi users to have some impact in larger fights. Oh well, it won’t really matter in the long run.

if thats the way its going to work, people on power build should do way more direct damage on people than condi class players. which it dont.
