Everyone keeps talking about the top 6 worlds being ‘Gold League’ I’m confused because I read one place that NA is having 2 leagues, somewhere else says 3.
OK, either way there are 24 worlds in NA. So if there are 2 Leagues wouldn’t it be the top 12? If there are 3 leagues, it would be the top 8.
3 leagues of 6 would leave the bottom 6 worlds out of season 1.

So what did I miss and where can I find official set in stone info?

it was 2 leagues of 12 when they first announced it, then they changed their mind and split it 6/9/9 instead (leagues have to be divisible by 3.. an 8 server league would mean 2 servers have to sit out every week)

OK, so that makes sense as to why our matchup is so heated this week.

Don’t worry too much about your own confusion. Anet is also confused.

The vast majority of these “league” matches will be decided within the first half hour of the reset, exactly the way WvW has been for a couple of months now. For some reason Anet doesn’t seem to understand that.
