Confusion is much to inbalance in this game. Some classes take 5 times confusion in 0,1 seconds and others much less.
In my Opinion this skill need a rework. Something like that.

1. Confusion damage reduce by 50%
2. You take 1/4 confusion damage each time you move 600 units.
3. You deal 10% less damage while under the effect of confusion.
4. 25% chance to attack friendly players for 25% of regular damage of the used skill while under the effect of confusion, each attack can hit enemies and/or friendly player
5. You take confusion damage each time you use a skill (only at pressing button 2-0)

Or you just cleanse it/wait it out. There’s confusion specs tend to be lacking in any meaningful other damage source so you really can just wait it out mostly. All i’d say for confusion is possibly nerf the 20 point power trait for mesmers glamour fields, as i’m fairly sure it lacks an AoE cap (people moving in and out of a field get a confusion stack).

wowso you would meganerf it because u got killed a few time?I get insane bleeding stacks from other classes and all their conditions like poison and all that is deadly. so yeah i get them,i see it ,i use nullfield move around ….done.why are you guys always going to extreems with the 1 and only condition a mesmer can really use effectively?

Class choice is yours, if you think you’re attacking too fast then change a class. It’s the downside of doing too many attacks: getting more confusion damage. Sometimes you just got to learn and wait for the right moment to attack, not just mindlessly spam your skills.

not really because of skill lag rubberband effect as in you could go from Auto hitting slow to auto hitting turbo mode which in case makes confusion SUPER OP because you cant hit that cleanse off when its delayed by 50 sec ago when it could have saved ur life.

It’s not a problem of confusion then, stop blaming the wrong target. :P
