A lot of people sacrificed sleep this week on FSP in order to gain points against the constant coverage monster that is Gandara but we did it.
Good job to everyone and thank you to all the guilds and commanders for pushing extra hours and putting in the effort to coordinate with each other to achieve good coverage of our own.
I know a lot of gandarans will blame this on hackers but no one on our server knows who they are or communicates with them in any way. There is nothing we can do about them since we don’t see them, can’t target them or see animations, and cannot know where they are attacking at any point. And remember that the complaints about hackers were here in the past few weeks as well, even when we lost to both AM and Gandara 2 weeks ago. So you can’t really blame the win now on them…
See this is where you are wrong, everything youve done Legit i congratulate you on wholeheartily, but the invisible golem hacking all morning is just a no go.
It strains your server as a whole, and puts a good match overall into a lame match, you may come out first, but as long as you watch and abuse the invisible golems the way you did i cant respect your server. Aka letting them open stuff up for you then walk in, perfectly timed too, gotta admit it does reek fishy.
Cheating = auto loose.

You really can’t understand the issue can you? A lot of Gandarans admired FSP coordination and ability to fight cohesively. Many spoke highly of the good fights so far. When people logged on this afternoon to have an epic final showdown with FSP, what we get instead is what Geon described, and I was there to see it myself as well. It’s incredibly demoralizing and we had people leave on the spot because it was useless now. The rest of the afternoon was just FSP trolling with superior numbers. Why is that bad?
Because nobody’s going to come out now and give you guys the praise you deserve, or remember all the good stuff. The fact that glitch-abusers and “that one dude” ruined the finale for a lot of people is what sticks, and it really sucks, for everyone. There’s no point in white knighting for FSP because the exploiters ruined the finale and your hard work for everyone. It’s not okay, it doesn’t matter who does it. Now that people know that it goes unpunished, we can expect all servers to have people doing it, further ruining the atmosphere and soon nobody will remember the hard work, and the earned victory.
I don’t personally know anybody who has bad blood with FSP, on the contrary there’s a lot of respect. There is a consensus that the hacking ruins the atmosphere and stains all victories, not just FSP’s.
Oakwind and Atlantis, I understand what you are saying guys and I’m sorry this happened to you, but you are speaking as if we can do something about it and are just ignoring it. And it is sadly not the case.
Even if we all stop playing on FSP and/or move to another server, so will the hackers, you know that. It’s just a super lame and sad situation…
Exactly. From me, you guys can have a tip of the hat.
From our point of view, it’s the same. You can’t go “Yay, go Gandara!” when we suddenly get point influx anymore. The niggling doubt that someone, somewhere is breaking things on purpose is there. The situation sucks for everyone, as I said.
I understand the dedication some guilds have put into the good fights and this state of affairs is deplorable. I’m more angry at the hackers as individuals because as I said, now nobody’s going to remember the good stuff, and the good legit opponents.
It’s nice to see that everyone isnt just going “hurr durr, they won cus they cheated”.
Some people stayed up ALL NIGHT to make it happen.
And it reeaaallly sucks that a few kitten -holes are ruining the fun, but you have to understand that we don’t want them either. But what can we do? If someone can shut him/her down, please, feel free to do so, they will not be missed.
I’ve heard over TS this whole week that people are trying to catch him on video and report him.
I’m not a huge WvW’er, but already I’m pretty piszed that these guys are giving us a bad rep we cant do anything about. :/
It was a good fight tough, Gandara was alway a thorn in our side
tbh i was wondering all week long where our folk was…hardly ever any queues on BLs, very small ones on EB. Pretty disappointed though that we didn’t even get queses on last day when we needed to catch up a few points.
So either a) Gandara got mostly PvEers that quit WvW after they got their achievements or b) ppl resigned from WvW out of boredom as there was hardly ever any real challenge during season 2 (that’s what happened to me…totally burnt out)

I’ve been out of WvW for a couple of weeks due to exams, what happened? Did someone !Gandara win last week’s matchup?
Gandara were winning going into final day of the weekly match, and per usual a small number of FSP hackers show up. But as FSP overnight crew worked hard this weak, the points were close.
The hacker this time was using an invisible/invulnerable golem to destroy the gates, but this time the FSP commanders and the large zerg capitalise on their friendly hacker and flip towers that had no chance of being defended with the hacker moving onto the next tower while the zerg is in the previous.
Then they claim it was an “earned” victory, but that distasteful last act of them condoning and using the results of their hacker has negated the positive atmosphere created by the few legitimate FSPers left that worked overnight.
TLDR; FSP commanders and the following zerg abused the effects of their servers’ hacking.
So much proof has been provided already.
