Guild Wars 2

So I am going to post the screen shots of the player doing this but im not sure if it might be just creative play or is against the rules?. But my guild was tying to cap Bluevale Refuge in Enemies Borderland. After killing all npcs and players we still couldnt cap. After searching for a bit we discovered a mesmer sitting on top on the building inside of the circle. We couldnt discover how he got on top and was curious if there is a way to do it so we can know in the future thanks.

Also if it is an exploit please let me know so that i can delete screen shot. Thanks

And it’s not against the rules, he jumped up there legitimately, though it’s extremely hard to do.

I’d consider it an exploit if they got up by flyhacking

We had 3 memser in group so it wasnt much of a problem once we found him. we just pulled him off. but without mesmer it would have been near impossible to get him off.

Yeah, but he’s like a treed raccoon up there lol. Just spam some aoe and watch him melt.

It actually looks like a thief…but anyways, there is a way for thieves to shadow step and mesmers to blink up onto stuff like that which isn’t an exploit. The blinking onto the tops of keep walls is different. In the case you see in the picture, it looks like he probably shadowstepped up there. Just AoE or pull him down.

It’s a mesmer, trust me I know them lol. And you don’t need to use glitchy mechanics like shadowstep bugs. Just good old fashiond space bar pressing.
