Hello everyone,

WvW is a 24/7 challenge. To accomplish a good organization and work for better ranks, the servers have to get some crews (i.g. Nightcrews) to keep the assault going and to successfully defend, in times other than primetimes. To do so, some guilds and alliances crossed servers, playing with a higher latency just to hold the lines and at the same time play without queues.

For me, the penalty to cross servers can be too high. I mean, the benefits of crossing servers can only be seen in a WvW perspective and not in a PvE and a sPvP. The current system limitation forces the players to play only with the server datacenter (NA to NA and EU to EU). In PvE we can’t join dungeons nor play with old friends in the older servers due to this limitation. In the case of sPvP, makes sense due to the latency that the players would suffer, but is a choice the players should have. What about tournaments (later when this becomes a E-Sport)? Can one player that plays on NA servers join EU tournaments?

So, if I for instance want to play with some friends at the cost of the ping (included for sPvP), shouldn’t i have that option?

Currently i am playing in a EU server. However, for me the current options for WvW are: Play in a EU and have long queues, play in a NA server to have no queues and make a difference in the nightcrew teams. Regarding the PvE and sPvP, i simply have to leave them behind because there is noway i can play with my friends if i make the change…

What are your thoughts on this?

Servers should have been worldwide from day 1.

Sadly Arenanet has shown from day that they have underrestimated peoples interest in WvW, and that they couldnt care less about the guilds and players for who it is the only reason to play GW2.

It will never happen so there is no reason to trouble your mind with it. It is better to adapt and move along.

That being said, There are servers at the bottom of the list who could use your help and have no queues at all.
RoS, FoW and Vabbi could use your help.

RoS is looking for some extra hands to finally break back into the upper tier.

You can PvE with your friends I’m not entirely sure about the PvP structure outside of WvW as I mainly WvW and PvE. I’ve done dungeons with friends on other servers (not EU but on other NA one’s through overflow servers as you can join the same overflow server). But if your truly interested in a NA you should come to Jade quarry we have no que’s and are a Tier 1 server with high population so we will always have people around doing the dungeons and stuff you want to do and we have been one of the top 3 WvW servers since the Beta so we also have high WvW experience as a group. And lastly we have a community site and a community TS for everyone on Jadequarry to use. Let me know if you have any questions
