I enjoy large scale play but I think it has become choke point heavy, ranged AoE heavy and lets circle each other for a long time affair. Feels more like a grade school dance than a fight sometimes. These tend to only end decisively when one side has a substantially larger force.

With that in mind, what would happen if players received a “crowded” debuf when more than say 15 friendly players were in close proximity to one another. The debuf could scale as more friendly players crowd into the same area. The debuf would reduce range, overall DPS, reduce speed and scale toughness. Not a lot just enough to create more intense close quarter fights and balance the scales a bit between differing group sizes.
