Hi All,

I am requesting Oceanic guilds to consider CD as their destination. Transfer here during off peak hours. We have a decent US population and average oceanic population in terms of numbers. Only a few oceanic guilds are organized but we are holding our own against Blackgate and Gate of Madness currently. We are currently ranked #10 on the list but that is incorrect and doesn’t reflect CD’s abilities correctly. We have the capability to be #5 or #6 and need help from more Oceanic population.

TLDR
Transfer to CD if you are a Oceanic guild since we have a decent Oceanic population currently with little to no queues during nighttime. Our current Oceanic population is holding our server because they are organized but we can use more people to relieve these guilds since they can’t play 14days straight.

I’m here to support Luvpie as part of the Synergy Alliance guild representing. As much as we have a number of Oceanic guilds already in, we are happy to have more to join us.

Aggroculture is happy to have more oceanic guilds to join us, as of now Aggroculture, EsF, VaL, EDMW, HAX are in there and more would be nice

I play on Blackgate during off-peak hours, and I’ll say this, CD nightplayers are organized and do well. Because we dont have much of a night presence (maybe 25-30 online) and its now weekdays, so no all-nighters from the US players, we’ve just been wiped off the map by a very organized CD.
Though I’d love more Oceanics on Blackgate (we seem to be losing more and more of our players), I believe that CD could very well be a top 3 server once they fill out the night players, considering they already have a base WvW population for it.

I would be happy if we get more Oceanics to compete against the 4th server which gets left out of HoD matchup. A little more organization and some more oceanic guilds we can compete.

Also supporting the Synergy Alliance from BIO. We could also still use more North American guilds as well! While more oceanics will most definitely help, a few more good North American guilds would do wonders as well. Our server is doing pretty well after our Oceanics got hold of things last night and helped us finally get a good solid lead.

Has nothing to do with the servers we are playing right now Clex, we are trying to make it into the top 5 and want to make sure our server is capable of holding our own against the top servers, at all times of day.

CD is asking for people because despite dominating during Oceanic timezones we still have no queue to the borderlands, meaning we can still get more people in and we will need them if we get put vs the top servers.

During the 1 days we thought we were doing really well but then we faced ET and got absolutely DOMINATED and it made us humble again. Need more people so that we can give them a challenge.

Doesnt CD have Synergy Alliance? o.O My colleagues in there and we’re from Asia

I asked my colleague and apparently CD lacks a bit of NA presence. Wouldn’t that be your top priority though seeing you have a decent Oceanic presence? o.O

I was on kaineng last night, its a nice server to visit and do things on but the problem as i see it is it seems like the wvw of kaineng are gun shy of heading into groups. A couple of times i would lead a small group in only to turn around and see that i was the only person there.

I wish some of the other WvW players from my guild were there we could have easily won much larger fights from the skill levels i perceived in from the enemies running around EB.

If youre guild is looking to rise a server up that would be the one. At the same time im going to hold to the idea that TA will move there simply because that server has so few people making queue times instant and getting invader buff consistently.

This isn’t a serious post is it? CD takes everything during the night…

Look at the score atm…they own everything. Yes, EVERYTHING ATM. Every single keep and tower. +695 or w/e it is.

Out server does have a very active night population, but as it’s already been stated – there are no queue times after about 12PM MST for the borderlands, so we can always get some more in.

Also – I’m an officer in KS and was wondering about how we might join the Synergy Alliance. We’re small, growing, and now that WvW is longer then 24 hours are working on doing more then just the jump puzzles.

What do you need to get more people in for? There’s clearly no challenge :P You’d probably get more people queuing if there was an actual battle to be fought.

I do wish you guys the best in the hunt for bigger game though, since you’re not jerks about dominating like some other servers… But seeing a scoreboard like this certainly makes me hesitant about jumping in against you!

We so happened to get this is because of our ability to muster our pugs and the oceanic guilds to fight one of the toughest guilds in BG (Urge) . Had we not organized ourselves we would have lost the entire BG borderlands. It wasn’t easy to fight guilds from BG. Most of us had to coordinate. Though i admit GoM needs help. As for BG, URGE guild itself is capable of taking everything, just for today we, AGGR and the other guilds and pugs had the right strategy/coordination to win today. It might not happen tomorrow or so as i believe they will return stronger. Also sometimes as us oceanic guilds we had to work two times harder just to fight on one map then stress ourselves to hop to another hoping our own borderland is safe, we dont have enough to fill all 3 maps at the same time honestly.

Whichever.. i still agree with the posters above that we do need more NA presence than Oceanic for now

they already have about 5x the numbers of blackgate in the offhours. recruiting more so the solo farmers also have a group of people protecting them? :P

Blackgate spent all day yesterday to get everything they lost to CD only to lose it again. I think that them being oceanic gives them an unfair advantage. Their oceanic players just nightcap everything while the blackgate population logs off at night. and during the day their US players just have to hold those points.

The system is broken, I for one as a BG player hope GW create an oceanic server and start to enforce IP restrictions. Not a popular stance I know, but something needs to be done to level the playing field.

We’ll trade you some scrub Oceanics for some decent US TZ guilds so we can log in and hopefully we are not spawn point camped. :P

While Sea of Sorrows was the unofficial Oceanic server, we as a community are not nearly as used to being organised as US guilds. Historically we are largely spread out in MMOs and are more dysfunctionally nomadic group of lots and lots of small, semi-useless guilds.

I think we as a community have to become better organised. Trust me, you don’t want more of us in our current state of mind, your battleground clogged with headless chickens isn’t going to get you the result you are after.

I think our guilds here need to look at consolidate the smaller guilds into larger guilds and look to get some organisation, leadership and coordination. Not only within the guild but working with others. We are getting steam rolled even in our TZ even through we usually massively outnumber the opposition.

We are doing great on CD right now with the overnight and morning groups. Blackgate and Gate of Madness are getting completely overwhelmed during these times.

I am a little worried about how we’ll stack up against higher ranked servers that have people online all the time though since we only really have queue times during the afternoon/evening hours.

Look, all you guys complaining about how CD is beating you guys down at night and capping all your stuff…this is not the thread for that. There is another thread about night capping in the WvW board, and I ask you to please go there. This thread is for us to recruit more guilds to our server to help us during both earlier days and more for nights. This is not so we can stomp you guys in Blackgate and Gates of Madness down further, you are missing the point entirely. This thread is so that we can fight back against the other top 3-4 servers in an even match up and give them a run for their money. Please stop posting over and over again about how we are night capping all your stuff and how it is unfair. You won’t be facing us next week, you will be facing other servers without a large oceanic presence, so please quit complaining and let the ranking system do its job.

My thinking is that queue is so long because one of the 3 servers currently doesn’t have the people the other 2 so to make sure there isn’t too much population imbalance the cap is low. We are hoping when we go up against top4 server we will see queue time lessen for CD. NA guilds are emerging and getting more organized.
Oceanic
Like I mentioned in the first post that CD does have a night presence but it’s no where near the presence on ET,JQ,HoD &possibly SBI. We will be going against one of these 4 next whichever is left out of the top tier match. To make the second tier fun one of the servers has to have the oceanic presence that these servers do while having the NA presence & organization. CD is a well rounded server which can make tier 2 fun for the 4th server which gets left out of Tier 1.

Logically Next matchup will probably be CD vs JQ vs IOJ (If IOJ keeps second place in current match).
