Ok. So I have observed this awesome truce between us two worlds for awhile, and I would just like to say I think this is awesome. Thats the first point, the second point is what I’m really wondering. How long will this truce between us last? I mean, I love that we aren’t fighting each other, but really, how long until we start fighting in the jp again?

Odds are the truce will last until TC is at 2nd/3rd place, and then the fighting shall begin again. Because lI don’t think FA appreciated TC’s betrayal from their short lived “truce”, which let’s face it, was to be expected since they’re already ahead of everybody else, they don’t need help keeping it.

I wasn’t aware there was a truce of any sort going on during the jumping puzzle myself, our guild was doing a puzzle night event and we decided to help some of our members through the WvW JP who would normally never try it but wanted to. Hammerfist Clan (HFC) ended up grouping up to go in and we were that “Zerg” that you all stopped at the end. While we weren’t aware of some sort of gang up against TC we did go into the puzzle with the mindset of letting others go peacefully and only trying to defend ourselves. After have our group picked at, pulled, trapped, and attacked almost the whole way we finally made it to the arena where we found both FA and CD with siege attacking us. Yes we tried to be amicable about the whole event but of course when we got attacked we fought back. Ah well, will have to try it another night.

And no, not really “jelly” of any truce. I figured if you go into the JP and try to be amicable about the whole thing all groups would respect each other. We met quite a few folks that we let by peacefully. Probably bit us in the end since those same folks may have gotten to the top just to fight us at the end as well. I guess I don’t agree with that sort of thing because other folks who attempt again may see any red and attack on sight because of hostilities in the past. It’s PvP though, so it happens.

Nothing to apologize for. Not upset or offended. We went in knowing the possibilities, although we never expected to get ganged up on. Thats the risk and fun of WvW though. Craziness happens, we have stories to tell about it, and lessons are learned, for good or bad. Maybe if the situation happens again and we are able to overcome the odds we will have our own great fight story to tell. Thats just how the puzzle area and WvW goes.
