It’s progress.. unfortunately most of us would prefer if all pets simply remained invisible (and un-revivable) in WvW.

Sending pet info to client are easier because pets do not have different armor or weapons or colors. Remembered a post from anet mentioning the needs to send all these details to the clients before they can be rendered the players on e monitor.

It’s a shame the client can’t just render a name with a HP bar when needed.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but it’s been like that since culling was introduced. I have screenshots like that from months ago. Skill effects and pets render first, that’s one way to estimate the size of an invisible zerg….
