How many kills do you guys have, and what ranks are you? I’m currently 76 and 3.1k kills, which I know isn’t very impressive but I was just wondering how long I stack up to others.

Between the 9 characters I have, I have around 1k ranks. My highest is 425. I have 36k kills. Most people who play as much as I do have alot more than 36k kills but I spent the first maybe 9 months of wvw solo roaming and you don’t get as many kills as those running around in guilds or zergs. And I still solo roam alot when I get sick of the blobs

3k away from WvWrank 210 with 17871 kills at the moment we’ll see where i end up at the end of the season.

It’s a bit meaningless.

What rank you get to after X hours of play depends very much on what you engage in and the profession you play.
My guardian goes through 5 or 6 ranks in a couple of hours play and gets 20-30 kills every time there’s a zerg on zerg clash. My mesmer makes maybe 2-3 kills in the same fight and gets a couple of ranks at best. The others are somewhere between these two.

It’s also highly server dependent. The high population servers have bigger clashes, more frequently so the kill rate is much higher.

i’m rank 113 and have 12k kills

Kills is also related to what server you are on.If you are getting crushed,you will not get as many kills as the server that is doing the crushing.

My highest ranked alt is a Necro 162 . Have 16k + kills.

Rank 140 or something and about 71k kills.

Rank 62, which is the highest I have gotten on any character.
11k+ Kills.

Rank 159 on my highest, 26K or so kills

We have a guy on our server who is in the 900s. Not sure who is the highest. Would be cool if they added this to the leaderboards (hint hint )

commander in our guild is something like 1080 atm lol but he runs karma train in EB all day

I took a 5 month hiatus due to work (which coincidently happened exactly on the day of the WvW rank patch).

Highest rank among my eight characters is 46, and I’ve got 30.2k kills.

30 something. I regret every WvW ability point I’ve spent too!

Rank 159 with about 25k kills. About rank 350 if all characters were added up.

We have a Guy on our Server who is about Rank 1600-1700 now..

Rank 478 with my main
around 150 spread on the others which were gained by leveling them.

kills around 26k
but that all has nothing to say. if you are only doing karmatrains you gain ranks fast and if you are playing on goldleague servers you will get the most kills.
Ever tried to farm kills against servers with very low wvw population?

I think many of the 80k kills you got before the wvw -patch that included the ranks?
Or you are only playing gvg’s and fight on open field. ^^

Capture camps, towers and keeps. I’m rank 142 with 3,7K kills. You could say I leave the zerging for others (prefer to be on ram, catas or ballistas or kill selected opponents in a zerg).

Usually stomped by severs with better coverage as I am playing mostly at night, so you get sneaky over the the months. Especially if you play at night.

Also you do not get that much WxP or even kills if you are defending as people are running away when there is too much defense. All fellow Kodash player should know this.

Also I am not actively trying to tag as much players as possible, I just don’t care. I’m in for some decents larger scale fight (maybe 20-30, zerging lags too much) and tactical game play.

Didn’t play since they increased WxP dramatically now up the league. I would probably be 300-400 by now if I kept playing over Summer. And maybe 8K kills. And I rarely stop at sentries anyway.

Don’t participate much in zerging, once in a while usually only when we do a larger assault to help out. After a few towers a Karma Train get’s boring as well, so I go roaming on another map. So call me small scale player if you want who does not really care about WxP at all. You just get it.

Anyway, players repeatedly killed don’t give much WxP anymore. So focussing on just killing doesn’t gain you ranks more quickly. The classic roamer usually kills other players that have been killed already very often.

In fact I don’t even bother to pick up mosts bags, as it’s just a bunch of greens and blues. I only pickup dropped chests. Main income is TP flipping.

The WxP rank system is useless anyway for comparision. Frequent Karma Trainers should rank in the 1000s by now.

On my alts I might have got 10-20 rank wise. But as WvW is not encouraging playing alts I stick with my main.

If you really care for ranks: get a commander tag and actively command pugs, you will be always where the action is, get all the bags and WxP.

My ranger is rank 50, Necro 20, mesmer 20, ele 15( I think) with around 3.5k kills. Not even started wvw with my other chars(lvl 80 war, lvl 80 guard, lvl 75 thief)

rank 1367 – 140k kills

WvW is not about rank. It is about team work and points and spikes and scouts.

Someone who scouts a lot could be low ranked but might have many hours in the game.

Someone who runs in EB and flips stuff every minute could be rank 1k but never scouted.

It all depends and someone with high rank in WvW doesn’t mean that the player is a good WvW’er.

Therefore this thread is meaningless….
