Came off the wrong way, 60-70 hrs a week in retail will make you grumpy lol. what i meant to say was it’s a lil annoying when a server can take tons of objectives over night due to their server having an influx of transfers, wasnt like it last week when we were all matched up.

o well, we’ll just have to fight harder.

Nothing like a handful of people fighting off a breakout attempt at Greenbrier only to have General Siegecrusher walk right through the walls and kill 4 people before we realized what was happening. So we fought him until he was at about 10% health when he ported back outside the tower. Really, it is sad when players stoop lower than a snakes belly and use hacks and cheats, but I never thought the General would stoop that low! We still fought off the breakout attempt and came out victorious.

We are currently training our npc breakout commanders how to fly hack so that they’ll be prepared if anet ever brings orbs back.

Our guild daily goes and does these jumping puzzles together and all ways let people do their own thing, However today we came into the puzzle and GoM had 2 arrowcarts and a ballist set up in the entrance room killing people, this went on for awhile. So our guild set up a treb in the room and killed all your siege, soon after you call for a truce.

Considering that I’m from HoD, and that I was literally a little bit away from the chest, right towards the end of the puzzle, just doing my own thing when an ele comes up and starts attacking me out of nowhere, you should be able to understand why I’m a little offended. I could understand the priors, I mean I got grouped into this huge fight unintentionally about 5 minutes earlier in the sort of arena part with the mobs, which sucked, but I dealt with it. Just kind of sucked to walk by you guys thinking it would be okay only to get assaulted not 30 seconds afterward, especially when I caused no harm to anyone and only retaliated when attacked…sadly there’s only so much I can do when I’m outnumbered like that.

EDIT: That also explains the random ballistae I saw doing the JP…was wondering who built those.

Glad to see new numbers in DH, Hi Prosecute and Acium again old friends.

Right before we were camping the arena we had to fight invaders of DH camping the arena. You were killed as part of the payback too. Before DH probably HOD camping. before that probably GOM (my server) camping. I’m not stating the DH is starting it, its everytime i come through DH is the one killing everyone. Also, its not just the eb jp its the bl jps too. <5% of the time do i ever have problems with HOD. >90% of the time i have problems with DH.

it was nice to see some of DH being peaceful. Those with the guild tag LIVE especially. Even though they suffered the payback program as well and even after i attacked them and they killed me, they allowed me to be rezzed, and we all kneeled to each other.

There were some HOD in there .. 1 was a necro and i hope they made it up there though peacefully.

For everyone complaining about the jumping puzzle, it was my experience that a guild called YURI from HoD started the camping, but they only attacked DH. RUDE

Just to clarify this. I logged on at about 3am pst time after going to bed at 12 pst time with work at 5am. I wanted to see if we had actually gotten a late night presence. What I found was, in fact, late night NA players for the most part. All of the commanders on at the time also commander during the NA primetime and all threw out the day. I dunno how or why they do it but they are dedicated beyond belief. As for me… I regret waking up so early with almost no sleep….so tired. ;.; but I got on right when we capped SM.

No matter where they live, they are still more of an off hours presence than either other server fields. It was not a criticism, just an observation since each night when I go to bed, SM is blue or red and each morning when I log in, it’s always green.

As for anyone claiming HoD has the market cornered on ‘class’ or ‘honor’, tell that to the 5-6 corpse jumping my Ele at the southeast camp in you HoD borderlands tonight… for 5 minutes.

Oh and this was the surprise.. more people joined us over time though. as soon as that lone tower showed up in GoM BL people rushed over. lol

It was really tough taking any territory in Darkhaven Borderlands tonight. My hat goes off to you guys, especially that Asura commander. He/She was reacting very quickly.

Kryptik tends to be our DH BL keeper. Does a great job keeping an eye on the big picture.

But for the real reason I’m dropping in:

Have some class guys. We’re almost the bottom tier and we have to deal with GoM or HoD plants that drain supply from our towers and keeps and stand at our Lowlands waypoint when its gone. It’s been noticed by multiple people at different times. It’s hard enough keeping people interested in WvW on our server…

In Darkhaven we teach those that are new to WvW and breach language barriers as best we can. The messages therefore almost always get across. When players dismiss the people trying to help, drain supply, and waypoint away until supply reappears, suspicions arise.

Hey Fizzlepip, it’s not just you guys that have to suffer fools, be it inexperienced players or so-called saboteurs and spies. It totally sucks, and I agree that sometimes it seems very deliberate (someone draining supply during a siege just to suicide a dozen golems comes to mind), but a lot of it really is inexperienced players and/or ones who just don’t care to work as a team.

Thankfully the spy/saboteur scenarios will happen less after the 28th, but aside from continuing on with promoting and training people (who are willing to participate) there’s not much any of us can do about the rest.

Really how kitten could GoM get. It really was a blast as they tried to take Bluewater Village for over 2 hours. If they got hurt they kittened back to their litter box in the invuln zone. It was like a duck shoot. To the one GoM Guardian, you really are not that tough if you have to run back to the invuln zone every time you get hit. Unable to stand out in the field and take it like a man? Even when it was just Guardian against Guardian you turned, tucked your kitten tail between your legs and ran for your hidey hole. I died once, you died what, half a dozen times? More? It was hilarious when you could not find that exact spot to protect your sorry backside, Watching you run in panic looking for the invuln spot I laughed harder then I have in a long time. However I got to go to sleep now. This old dog is tired of playing with kittens. Oh and 89 badges today, only 12 short of 1,000. Thanks!

Theft, do yourself a favor and don’t post immediately after you finish with PvP man. It just makes you look bitter when you call out an entire server for something that you saw from a very small percentage of the overall population.

Just came to say thanks for this awesome tier. I can’t do anything else but WvW right now since it’s so much fun.

As other guys here said: it’s is 99,99% chance of just being fools who don’t want to work as a team or unexperienced players. It happens. Annoying as heck, but it happens.

I admit I became nervous yesterday when Klovan was with fortify at 97% and they got the wall down, supply was 0 and we just got some, but hey! Only the workers got it and it was all rebuilt =D

Thanks for the amazing fights guys, since last week this is definitely the best tier.

@On coverage: Yeah, I believe this week we got better coverage overall, but last week HoD had more, eh, it happens, I know how it can be annoying to be losing by so little sometimes, but I’m just glad the scores are this close, it shows how even as possible we are. It’s a 100% more fun than the last tiers we were in, now every server really has a chance.

Thanks for the heads up and the reassurances. I’m not wholly convinced yet that they even are spies, and I certainly don’t want to sound like I’m accusing whole servers of it, so these sort of things help keep this part of the conversation civil.

After weeks of getting pounded, having such a great match 2 weeks in a row is a relief. I’d hate to see things and the hard work of the few that remain be undone by sabotage.

That said, keep up the great fight guys. Having a lot more fun facing your servers than I’ve had in some time.

Took a three week break and came back in the middle of last week. I have to say, last week and this week have been incredibly fun and great fighting on everyone’s part! This it what the game should be like week in and week out /salute to all involved!

Also, you can please stop focus firing my necro anytime now, he’s weak and is just out there for a jaunt through the scenic countryside

As a darkhaven player on vacation in GoM till sat, I support that statement. I’ve seen their team/map chat and yea…….

Also I’m not a DH spy, i need a poi and vista in a tower left of your spawn and DH never fliped it when I was on. Too bad free xfers are gone on mon or I would take a few more vactions to GoM. PvE side is ok in my books but my guild misses me.

Was dumbfounded that you just disappeared while downed so i continued attacking that spot, but u never re-appeared. I run over to AP and there you are, dead in Lord room. Then I see you again by bridge at AP, attack you and poof, you teleport away to god knows where. When I see your guild tags, I will be sure to Screenshot it or Fraps it. Until then… Lets keep the hacks to a minimum.

To the rest of Darkhaven, thanks for making these last 2 weeks a challenge! It’s been real fun.

This has been a really interesting week in my opinion. I’ve had a couple of great duels this week with people when defending a camp, and as always I have a blast when trying to hold off an attack on our towers. ^_^ I understand your sentiment, and as I said, when I see the player again I will report him. I was infracted for my post, although I did not put the “ForumName.1234” on it.
At first I thought I was going crazy. But after it happened again I was sure. Even a few others who were there with me were like WTF? He just disappeared. I was told to Report him, but alas, you cannot select “Defeated” players. Otherwise I would have reported then. All I know is it was an Asuran Thief, and if I happen to run into them again, I will Fraps it. The rest of your Guild I find to be a great and fun fight.

This is the first time I’ve found it worth logging into the forums to post a reply in any thread, and it’s all due to this matchup being absolutely fantastic. These past two weeks have been the most fun I’ve ever had in WvW and I’d like to thank HoD and GoM for that ^^ You guys are great opponents to play against, and personally, I wouldn’t mind playing against you guys for the next several weeks if it stays like this. Kudos to all sides for putting up such amazing fights!
