A frustrating thing I’ve noticed is when I go into Towns, or into WvW. I hear people talking about us losing and then they say they’re going to switch servers to the “Winning Server.”

To me this is frustrating because if they are switching servers, (And if I know gamers, many of the hardcore W3ers are doing just that.) it screws us over. Anet had a system enabled to prevent this from happening. Which was to charge players for server transfers and they could only transfer once every 2 weeks. (I think the time period is right.) But due to the fact that they never implemented guesting like they said. They made charges free and thus caused what they didn’t want to happen in the first place. I for one will stay with Darkhaven till the end but I just cant help but feel that Anet needs to give people some kind of incentive to go back to other servers that are losing and fight for them.

Now that my rant is over. Is there going to be another W3 Guild Leader meeting? I wasn’t able to make the last time due to a mistake in the time it was being held.

i must say its been a very close battle, i am from sorrows furnace and we got you guys and rall at us 24/7. Its not easy defending our land and that castle. @ Alimar, i agree, i dont like seeing people switch servers. Last match my server was stomped by aspen due to their pop size. sure during the day we did alright, but night, lost everything. this match up we are really enjoying. i hope we get paired up again. As for the jumping puzzle some of us wont attack you if you dont bother us, its a fun place, no sence in ruining it for everyone. Cya on the battlefield and Good luck :-)

Hello Darkhaven peeps. I had the same idea Lurko did without coming across his efforts till I posted on reddit. There’s forums set up at www.darkhaven-wvw.com if anyone thinks it’s useful. I joined up with HVN so I’m aware they have ventrilo set up that people are using. I don’t know how big it is but I have a 500 slot public teamspeak 3 server set up at voice.darkhaven-wvw.com.

is there any asia timing guilds around in DH which my guild can fight together with?

Alimar, don’t forget that the free world transfers are only in place for a while until server populations settle. There are still people joining the game, trying to move to the same server as their friends or guildmates, or trying to find a server that is a good fit for them. I had several friends who started in a different server and had to wait a while to make it into Darkhaven because it is often full. The game is bigger than WvW, and the server transfers are very important for community purposes. Not to mention the game IS still very new, and you have to give it time to settle.

@Viceroy Reach out to Seal The Deal of HVN. I believe their normal play times match yours.

Need a better way to communicate between Guild Leaders. My mailbox here fills up way to fast and no group messaging is killing me with having to send individual messages. Ideas?

Also, I won’t be in WvW too much the next few days.

We need that forums up and running and more wide-spread/known so we can communicate strategies for coverage + hour by hour attacks. If we can get a secure area of that forum for leaders to write out and address issues with our plans, it would be perfect. We could write out basic strats for openings, weekends, regular days, ect.

Stay out of the Sanctum of Rall Boderlands. They are hacking. Sanctum just hacked the entire map. They took all of our towers and keeps that were fully upgraded instantly.

Eh? Please tell me what time that was? Because if you say it was last night (23rd) I am going to call BS on that.

We were organized and moving to each keep/tower and taking them. There was no “hacking” involved other than the bodies we cut through.

Believe me if there was any hacking on our side we would report it ourselves. Vigilance is playing for the challenge and fun. Not to cheat.

Edit: Actually we were in Sorrows last night, my mistake. I read the post as your borderlands.

What details can you provide on the hacking? Guild name? Pics? Anything?

@Akorn, I understand that we have to give it time to settle. But its the fact that I see plenty of gamers that transfer just because we’re “Not winning” and because its free they feel like they have no commitment. I’ll continue to play, learn and enjoy the game no matter what as I agree with you WvW isn’t just the only part of the game. It just gets frustrating. The best games are the close games, when a game is already decided it just gets boring for one party and frustrating for the other involved party.

Sometimes its best to be the underdog and you can always guarantee that there will be some darn good fighting. I woe the day that we can all get organized as an entire server and actually communicate rather then everyone shouting in team chat and no one listening. Darkhaven Alliance forever!

I just like being the underdog and do not plan on moving. I will always be in the battlefield to assist the server in battle.

Has the Darkhaven Alliance declined into rampant cursing and immature behavior? I was on this morning and all of our “commanders” were just screaming cuss words in chat and trying to get us to hit fully upgraded walls with trebuchets. It was rather disgraceful to be honest, definitely not a proud moment for Darkhaven. Hopefully things and attitudes get better so we can ALL enjoy WvW and not have to deal with the few people who can’t express themselves in an intelligent manner. Hats off to the few people that were trying to get us pointed in the correct direction though! Thank you!

Well it’s a proven communication method that if you type cuss words in all CAPS that people listen…right?

Right now the WvW on Darkhaven is becoming more and more depressing to the point I was standing in the land last night going “You know, this just isn’t fun right now” cause there was only a few fights and it was just us getting beat over and over and over again, with little to no communication.

Let him be. You know the elitist mentality. Hopefully next week they get to face HoD and get insulted like that.
