Dat Jumping Puzzle in WvW
How does it ruin the gameplay…? It’s just a puzzle after all.. Plus it rewards players with badges of honor along with siege that can be used on the battlefields.. If anything the rewards you get are totally worth getting, unless you don’t think siege is needed to take things of course. Which is just plain stupid.

What you said, is totaly true. But this can be achieved in a total seperate and isolated map from EB.
Yes.. But if there is a mesmer in said JP.. They are in there for two minutes and out. Don’t really see how this ruins the gameplay.

Because it is not two minutes. There occurs even some siege for hours there. Those people just wasting EB cap if it counts.
I am not certain about that aspect about it. But I think they do have to so that they do not count in EB, if it does then I could understand being “outmanned” in a sense. The whole camping of the JP is a tactic. Only let your server-mates reap the rewards of said chest, not allowing any other of the servers take a part of its benefits. Obviously there are other ways of getting siege but for some people it’s the only way they get it from.

I think it is great how it is. I really hope ArenaNet does not listen to all the random complaining here on the forums. If they did we would be reduced to playing pong… but in a box that making it so you cannot lose.
This is a great game. I find the JP in WvWvW to be one of the many fun parts of this game. Thanks for including a interesting and challenging bit of gameplay to WvWvW in the form of a jumping puzzle ArenaNet!

WvW is already a gold sink for every commander and other raidleaders.
If you patch out the JPs the costs of siege weapons would explode.

Good to see we’re still keeping the tradition of daily new whine threads about the JP.
Too bad this one isn’t original either, they generally come in 2 variations:
1. qq about being killed there (well duh it’s a pvp mini dungeon that caters to small group play in an open’ish environment and camping / ganking + king of the hill style)
2. they’re taking up our precious EB slots (if there’s fighting in htere, this usually involved enemies as well, so you don’t like me keeping 5 enenemies busy in there solo so they have 4 less players than us to defend objectives on “the real” map).
Please come with something original next time or post in an exisiting thread.

lol what? How would the price of siege change in any way when the JP is removed? You do know you can also buy siege with badges right? Those very same badges that are easily obtained if you actually contribute to Wv3 instead of insisting on getting freebies from a chest.
Not to mention half the people whining about campers or begging for help in the JP’s sole argument is about how they need those badges for a legendary that they’re nowhere near obtaining and they have absolutely no intention of contributing.
There are many people on my server who have purchased literally hundreds of pieces of siege soley with badges. I don’t think it’s unfair to expect other players to actually put in some effort to get theirs beyond running past a few campers so they can reach a mesmer on the other side – heck, 90% of these people have never even completed the EB JP the proper way! By all means go to the JP, but don’t cry about it in team chat when it’s not the cakewalk you wanted it to be.
As for the campers, they can stay there for all I care, it’s less people on the opposing team being useful for them too.

What i m talking about is not something contradicting your ideas.
Everytime player asks “Mesmer in JP”, people in EB just wont be kind to him and i really want to kick that player away from the map.
This problem hurts the community in WvW. So there should be some changes about this issue
I think this says more about your server’s community than anything else.
Remove them from wvw and make a separate instance containing all four wvw JP’s then make badges only drop from players in there, no siege weapon drops, and you can play inside the JP for as long as you like- you could even have a ranking system based on which side kills more players from the opposition inside the JP area.
There, now everyone is happy- if you want badges of honour, you will have to work for them in wvw, if you want to chest camp and prevent others from getting to the top in the JP then you can do that.
If I want dungeon drops I have to go complete a dungeon to get them, wvw should be the same, you should actually have to participate to get badges.
