Good changes. I knew Anet would nerf the disablers a bit. They did it quicker than I thought they would.
Mmo players with a screw loose vs mmo players with two screws loose. All very important stuff.

haha… Anet thinks that is good ‘nerf’… 2 people can still perma disable siege. or 1 person can disable siege and then 2-3 ram hits and disable again… gg Nerf should have been more or the real problem of LOS disabling rams through gate should have been solved.

Agreed, Dante. I think they will see how this nerf on disablers goes, and then do some further modifications. Am glad they got to it so quickly…..makes me think we will see a second round of disabler nerfs(if needed) within another month or so.

What nerf..one person can almost continually still disable siege, two can.
The nerf they should have made is for each disabler to only disable ONE piece of siege.
No matter what anet does, short of getting rid of disablers, it will be complained about. At least this is a step in the right direction, and it was done in a fairly short amount of time.
And hey, as an added bonus……Anet is actually paying some attention to WvW!

Not just Anet, I think it is a goof nerf. You would be hard pressed to prove any nerf is a bad nerf. Sure it needs to be more, in my opinion.

Maybe you should build an arrow cart and eliminate the disablers.
Throw a temporal portal where they would leave inner base to outer base and then eliminate them after you forced them out of there base.

People will still complain because disablers were a terrible idea implemented as a bandaid to a problem instead of actually fixing it. Is it really okay to praise ArenaNet when they were the ones that implemented disablers in the first place? Even on paper they were a bad idea, there were threads stating such, but they implemented it anyway. Turns out that the players were right…again. I honestly can’t give kudos when they are basically cleaning up a mess they made.

Those 5 people must have been uplevels or in masterwork gear.
I don’t see how one person can permanently disable siege if you could build catapults and just place them far enough apart that one disabler cannot hit both. Even better, you can put them far enough away that they can’t throw it far enough to disable them without coming out.
Rams aren’t the only siege tool.

people use catapult as rams…. no air time :P
They are just trying to fix the broken gimmick the siege disabler is.
They should just remove it instead and focus on meaningful things like content and improvements.
Praise the RNG gods, they have nerfed the all powerful siege disabler. Kind of. I still think the game was fine without them.

Yes, and the cooldown should be on the siege, not the disabler. I don’t care if they can insta-throw disablers as long as a piece of siege can only be disabled once every x # of secs.
